Ok, I tried to give the Fry's store on 48th and Baseline another chance at taking legitimate coupons without a fuss - thus allowing me to shop there on a regular basis....NOT!!

Not only did they fail... they failed miserably!!

I had a total of seventeen coupons on two different products (granted I knew the limit was 4 coupons per type of item - and I always keep that an option if they want to do more than one transaction with me), anyways they first stated that they could only take one coupon a day....well the rest is just as obnoxious....got 4 managers....yaddy yaddy ya....... told me I had counterfiet coupons because one was not in color...yaddy yaddy ya.... shut down the line to deal with me... yaddy yaddy ya......

Needless to say one manager finally just "approved" it all - so the cashier could go to lunch.

Oh well... I tried to become a customer of theirs but it just wasnt in the cards....

im sorry for your bad experience. when i used to live there i used to shop at the one near 32nd street and thomas... everyone there was so helpful and i loved that store. they always corrected anything that happened. i got locked out of my car once there because i had to some very late shopping done and was too rushed and forgot my key... ugh... but 2 people stayed there with me and helped me until a police officer came and unlocked my car's door. so if you ever are near that area that store is wonderful!! again i am sorry for your bad experience and i hope you find a better frys to shop at because frys does have some really good sales.

Wow sorry you have such trouble. I have shopped that one several times with many many coupons and have never had a problem. I was actually planning on going sunday because it's close to my work and I like going on my lunch without the kids. I will let you know how it turns out for me.

Agree.... now first off let me say I am not an uppity person?? But that store is way ghetto! I was there shopping one time and noticed a ton of police cars near the little ceasars only to find out later that it was an armed robbery... to scary for me....

Oh my gosh. I'm at Guadalupe and Alma School in Mesa.
I did shop Fry's this week because I was able to save 70% each time. But I don't like Fry's, never have. I shop Safeway and Fresh n' Easy when ever I can.
So sorry you had to go thru that hazzle. Did you save a bunch?

I wouldn't go to the 24thstreet/Baseline one near Target either then. Got the most wicked cashier there once. 51 ave/Baseline ROCKS however! If you want to drive far for a good one! They are always wonderful with me!

The best Fry's is Dobson/Ray in Chandler....They ALWAYS have plenty of the sale items! However, I do most of my shopping at the Cntry Club/Baseline store...

I was just there on sunday to finish up my cereal coupons and had no problem. I have few fry's that never give me any trouble and the baseline and 48th is one of them. yeah I hate the area but I just go in for a few quick sale item on sunday while I am on lunch from work. the cashiers are not the friendliest but fine by me as long as I get my items. It sounds like maybe you were using Ip, I have to say I never use IP's over $.50 at any fry's because I have had problems.
