I visited a Frys here in Arizona on 48th and Baseline and all were confirming they no longer double IPs or take values over a dollar....then after tracking down "important people" they confirmed they could no longer take IPs PERIOD.

Does anyone believe this? Should I ask the regional manager?

I think this is a little strange because they put links to IPs on their very own web site. I would take it to the regional manager. Because I live in Arizona I hope they are wrong. Please keep us informed.

I would talk to the corp people about this because my frys take ips with no problem...well as long as it isnt over $5.00 but other than that they are fine with it. i would dig deeper or find another frys.

We called corp when our Fry's declared in early Jan that they were no longer doubling. It was quickly corrected. The store mgr misunderstood the policy change when they eliminated the quadrupling in Dec.

Frys/Kroger is usually very across the board in their stores on their coupon policy. I would definitely inquiry and ask them to e-mail you a copy of the coupon policy to keep with you. I have mine that I keep in my Fry's tab just in case. Knock on wood, I've never had to use it.

Let us know what they tell you!

I shopped at Fry's on Houghton Rd., in Tucson, last night with my usual assortment of coupons. As usual I had no problems with any coupon at all. Everything doubled, tripled,etc. including IPs. I must say of all the stores I shop Fry's Food stores make the least mistakes and usually I get a comment on what a good shopper I am. I used 3 Cottonelle IPs, didn't even slow the guy down.Hopefully this will continue and Fry's will remain my favorite store, and the one I buy my non coupon stuff at.

My sentiments exactly!! Right now they are almost exclusive and they get all my non-coupons stuff as well.

Sometimes I feel like telling them, when there is a problem (rarely), that I buy all my stuff here and if you dont want that I can go elsewhere.

Right now they my #1 place!!!

We too. The only issue we have with our Fry's is having to watch produce pricing vs check out. Frequently the price on an item in produce will be less than what it rings up for.
Got so we stand in the store and go over the tape before leaving, so we can go directly to the service desk and get the item for free. Very poor produce management or deliberate? Who knows. But I wonder how many people don't bother to check their tape? We've complained to corp and the store manager, but it still happens. Produce or someone is simply not loading the computer with correct prices.
