Okay, this would have to be quick, but since I have SO MANY COUPONS, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting up somewhere and having a coupon exchange? I asked dancinkeyz and she's interested and has great stuff to share too!

I do not drive, but I am itching to try out the new light rail and head out her way to the east valley. LOL But I know we have people everywhere. I am will to meet up a couple different places but it would have to be tomorrow afternoon or Monday.

My suggestion would be a Starbucks or other coffee place were we can get a table and have at it. We could do a restaurant too but that would cost more $$ that most people don't have after Christmas. LOL

Great idea, but we only cut out what we might use, and don't save the remaining inserts, so have nothing to trade. If this will be an ongoing thing, we could start clipping everything. How about internet printed ones? I do have some extra Cheerios $1/2 from the Cheerios challenge that we won't be using since we're stocked up. They run really short dates tho.

I think having a regular meet up would be great. I'm all for that. It might be better to have one for the East Valley and then one for us here in Phoenix when we do have regular meet ups. I have no problems organizing and going to both though.

I am just starting out -- but I live in Peoria, and don't know about traveling across half the valley to get to a meetup. Gas is still pricey for me.

Okay, how about this...

Today (Sunday) Anyone who can make it to the Starbucks on 7th St & Missouri, I will be there from 2PM-4PMish. I picked this one because it's central and usually pretty empty this time of day. (Of course now it will be packed because I said that)

If the times need to be a bit earlier for you or later, PM me and let me know. I'm flexible and Sunday is my 'me' day where I escape from my teenagers.

As far as the East Valley. I can go out pretty much anytime on Monday. I don't know who works/or not and someone would just have to tell me where a Starbucks or coffee place is off the light rail line (or bus line) as other than trips to IKEA and Arizona Mills once and awhile, I'm rarely out that way and don't remember where anything is anymore.

Okay, dancinkeyz wants to meet somewhere in the East Valley at around 7ish. Allison and katskat2 and any other East Valley folks, does that work for you? I could be there a bit earlier too as I probably won't be able to stay that late as the buses stop earlier now. Grrrrrr

So the light rail goes as far as basically Dobson. According to the map, that's where the old Tri City Mall was at which has been demolished. Has there been any shops put up around there yet?

Would it be easier to get off at Price/101? Really, I'm clueless. I haven't been out that way in YEARS.

Okay, a few suggestions on meeting places.

I can be there at 5ish until probably 9 and still get home. *I think*

dancinkeyz says there is a Denny's at the intersection of the 60 and Rural and there is a Starbucks right around there as well.

Or somewhere around Fiesta Mall maybe? I know there is a Starbucks there and also Mimi's Cafe and they have a BOGO coupon on coupons.com right now. Or just in the food court at the mall. Is that mall still nice? I haven't been there in YEARS. LOL

Anyone in the East Valley interested in meeting tonight? Please let me know ASAP if any of these places/times work for you.

They stop tomorrow the 30th according to the ads. The coupons will still be good at Albertson's though until they expire next month.

We had fun! Nothing like taking over a table and talking coupons!

We will definitely plan a couple next month with more notice so watch this forum. I will put up a poll next week to see what dates/times are best for people.
