I just returned from shopping and only had 2 mq, I was getting non coupon items, meat, veggies, fruit, any ways I printed 2 fresh and easy q from on line, do not have one near me to pick up the ones from the store, I have been using these for the last month never had a problem, well today they tell me no ip q,

so I ask for the manager to come over and he said that they do no accept them, so I tried to explain it was a competitor q anyway what does it matter, would not taken them end of story.

What a bummer, I feel so cheated I spent $60 and only had $2 in q. I am use to getting more for less and I am not happy about this shopping trip. Ok I am just getting spoiled with my coupon shopping.

No, not spoiled, smart shopping. I agree they're getting strict. I went to my Fry's last night and they changed their tune also. They've been taking my F&E qs first, no problem. Last night the cashier told me they were no longer taking them until all the other qs were used. Bummer. Maybe I'll try a different Fry's next time.

Is it written in their coupon policy that they take internet Q's? If so then you have a 'case'. I've never had a problem w/ frys (watch me get cursed tomrrow). So i dont carry a copy of it w. me

It is written in the 'Kroger' coupon policy that they take Internet Manufacturer coupons. Since this is a competitor coupon, which they are taking it as a courtesy right now, I'm sure they are adopting a policy that they see best for their store.

I have personally used the IP coupon at the two stores I am usually around and not had a problem. But I have only used it once at each just to try as I have plenty of the mailer coupons. The FEM at my store told me they are supposed to honor the wording on the competitor coupon. If the coupon (like the Albertson's one did) says after store discounts AND coupons, they will take it off after that. Since the Fresh and Easy coupon doesn't state it, they should take it off after your VIP card total.

But again, please remember they are generously doing this for us right now by honoring competitor coupons. There are some stores who may have different interpretations or who have been burned with improper/fraudulent use and may adapt what they have to for their store.

I generally whenever a new coupon comes out (the competitors) stop and chat with the FEM or even the SM to make sure I am understanding how they will interpret it in their store so their aren't any misunderstandings at checkout.

Also, please remember to give the cashiers the competitor coupons first as some of them, they need to put in as they are ringing the item. The more we help them, the easier it for us in the end!
