Oscar Meyer bacon is on sale this week at Fry's for 50% off. I used the Albertson's q from this week's ad for B1G2 free. So, 3 packages for $2.49.
Also, I used the Basha's q for 1 package of Hormel bacon for $1.48.

ETA: The Albertson's q does have $6.97 as the sale price for the OM bacon, so your cashier CAN charge you that much for the one you are paying for (instead of this week's sale price of $2.49) ... it will depend upon store policy.

Yes, Fry's will take competitor coupons through the end of this year...

well i know that but can we use both on one item... so that the bacon is price matched to safeways sale and then do the b1g2 thing from albertsons

I used the OM coupon today...they charged me $2.26 per pack....so it wasn't such a good deal for me....

depends on the cashier the coupon says at add price of $6.79, so they are sopposed to charge you 6.79 for one bacon and give you 2 free but, ive gone twice and the first time they charged me 3.24 total for all 3 and the other time they chaged me 6.79

This coupon was in the flyer as well as in a one page ad in the Sunday Republic. I went yesterday and got 6 packages of bacon. What I will do with all that bacon is beyond me.

My cashier charged me the sale price on the bacon I did pay for.

First of all, I will preface with stating that this is not the place to be ugly. You can save that for your real-life friends. It has no place here as we are all here to work together to shop wisely and save a buck or two. We thrive on teamwork, not being rude to each other.

Second, I had no intention of trying in any way to make you appear "stupid". I was simply stating the facts.

Perhaps you can apply those reading skills of yours to see that the Basha's ad is for Hormel bacon @ $1.48/1, and the Albertson's q is for B1G2 free of the Oscar Meyer bacon.

If you mean price matching a price advertised in (this week's) Safeway's regular ad (not a q), I doubt it, but it would, I guess, depend upon individual store policy. I've never tried any price matching at Fry's because usually their prices are already the lowest.

As for the prices being charged ... I have done the B1G2 thing three times and all three times I was charged differently!
1ST TIME:
.83/each
2ND TIME:
$1/each
3RD TIME:
$6.49/1 ... the other two $0

again I was saying safeway not Bashas and yeah i can read that bashas is something different, which is why i was saying safeway coupon. but whatever! its done and over with...the coupon expired...the SAFEWAY coupon. NOT BASHAS
