I just discovered this site and am getting really excited about all the bargains you are getting. I hope to be able to do half as well after learning from all you experts!

I hope someone knows the answer to my question. I know Fry's accepts competitors coupons (at least for now). But do they honor competitor's sale prices? When I worked discount retail we did. If they do, what items do they honor it on? Only name brands? Like/kind store brands? Produce?

I do not believe Fry's price matches. I have never tried so i honestly do not know. the best thing to do would be to call your local store and ask.
but if you have a coupon from say safeway for soda being .69 each, then fry's just subtracts the difference from your total...
like yesterday they had soda 3 for $5 but i had the safeway coupon for .69 each, so i gave them that and they subtracted $2.93 from my total.
so i think the only price matching they will do would be with a coupon

My Fry's will price match if I bring in the sales ad from that store. Say Eggo Waffles are advertised in Bashas sales flier, then my Fry's will price match it when I show the flyer to the cashier.

I held up the checkout line enough last week with all my coupons...I can only imagine what will happen when I go in with other store's sales flyers. I'm going to have to start shopping as soon as the store opens so I don't make everone mad!

Good question. Thanks for asking. I never thought to ask my Fry's if they price match but I will now. If there's a really great deal I can't get at Fry's, I price match at Walmart. It's a rare occasion w/all the incentive at Fry's right now.

I asked the FEM at my store yesterday and it is not their policy to ad match. He also said it never hurts to ask on something though as they want your business and while they won't price match an entire ad, they may be willing to honor a price or two.

Bottom line, Fry's wants us to shop in their stores and keep us happy. If you spend money in their store and walk up with a full cart and ask, you never know what will happen.
