Just in case there is a ChapStick sale anytime soon... I just "discovered" a new-to-me use for it!

When you color your hair at home, use ChapStick around your hairline to keep the color from staining your skin.

You can use Vaseline, too, but that's so messy. I just grabbed an extra ChapStick I had laying around to use, and it worked great!

Oh for the love of Pete (who is HE anyway?) - I am dying here...I use Magic Eraser to clean the shower tub floor - its got the textured bottom and gook gets stuck..M/E is ONLY thing I found that combats it 1, 2, 3 BUT back on track...I am LOL here visualizing her with the chapstick and you with the Magic Eraser.

You use the Magic Eraser on your face?? Wow, I'd have NEVER thought of that!

Ok, how I thought of the Chap Stick... well, it's the same basic consistency as Vaseline (which I used to use) and I noticed at the drugstore they are now selling some sort of "stick" designed specifically to keep the color off your face at the hairline. So I put 1 + 1 together and came up with CHAPSTICK!

I think those other sticks they are selling now are around $3.00 (or they were when I saw them a few months ago). Generic ChapStick is what - 40¢?? And it'll last forever if that's all you use it for!

BTW, you shouldn't use a magic eraser on your skin - you can get skin irritation from it --

I use it to keep certain shoes from rubbing blisters on my feet. It doesn't prevent them completely but it does hlep!

In the winter when my FIL gets crackes on his hand he pulls out the chap stick and rubs it on his hand. He says it helps allot.

I use it some times on my heels when the start to dry out.
