| How much have you saved on Groceries so far this month?
So far this month I have saved $84.68 with sales, coupons, freebies, on food and groceries. Starting prices came to $200. 86 and ending with spending $110.18. I have yet to track the actual prices since these are all the sale prices before the coupon. What have you saved? |

I spend $80 to 100 a week now for groceries , thats what i spent before. But now I have a stockpile of coffee, and eggos, soap, razors, butter, shampoo, body wash, and other things. basically because i buy these things on really good deals I can afford to get more food. Instead of barely making it to payday to buy more food, we coast now. i don't have to run to the store b/c we are out of coffee. On most trips I coupon 20 to 50 dollars. Not as good as some, i know, but better than before.

Just at Teeter I've saved 66.27% or $118.43. My oop is $60.29 but I have made $124 doing my Teeter mystery shops. So I am well in the green!! This is just for food. I track everything down to the penny. Seems like a waste until you see it on paper.

I don't do very well on grocery items. I don't seem to get the coupons for items I need. I try to take advantage of sales (ie when publix has bogo items I need, or when CVS has a deal on cereal....they're right next door).

I don't know that I'm actually saving any money...but I do get REALLY good stuff now ![]() I'm kinda like suzyqwerty- I don't spend any money on HBA really, but I direct that money to getting healthier food and I also don't feel broke the last half of the pay period. It's basically helping us live COMFORTABLY on the same budget we used to live on (and always ran out too early)
