I need to cut costs and I am looking for advice on the cheapest telephone, cable, and internet service in Michigan. Either all together or seperately. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure in Michigan, but here in Mn we have two big companies that offer all three. Well i just recently added 2 out of the three services to my current plan and they told me that if i was a brand new customer I would have gotten a better rate. So whatever you choose, check around, I would say get all three services with one provider. They will most likely have a newbie deal for you, or at least give you discount for having all three services.

well, we dont have a land line at all. We just have cel phones. The cable internet is not to bad, and we use satelite tv, it is cheaper than cable.

our comcast wireless is cheaper then comcast cable internet.
not any help, but as soon as we are out of vonage, I plan on switching to comcast cable phones.

we have dish satelitte, but It would be nice If comcast would do something with verizon so we could eventually bundle those.

I'm up in Saginaw and recently canceled my Charter phone. I had nothing but troubles since I had it installed. First it took 4 phone calls to get the voicemail to work (that was over 6 weeks period of time). Then some calls would show up on the caller ID and ring into the house but you couldn't pick them up (they were usually calls from cell phones). That one never got fixed. Then the service stopped working completely! I spent hours on the phone with the tech support and they coudln't get it working. She said she'd have to send out a tech and of course I'd have to take time off from work. That wasn't it though...they were going to charge me to have the tech come look at it. I had it for about 3 months at the time and it had NEVER worked right. I told her to cancel it. The next month, it was still on the bill....I called and talked to 2 different people and supposedly they canceled it too...and the next month ...it was still on the bill! I called again. Finally I found a woman that canceled it for me. It was a huge expensive nightmare for something that didn't work. Now I just use my cell phone as a primary phone and don't have a home phone. I found that it's the best deal for me.
