| A Cleaning Product For Walls?
Does anyone know of a good product that will actually work to clean grease type (from the oven) splatters off of walls around the oven? I've tried all the typical cleaning products; 409, magic eraser with dish soap, etc and some not so typical ones like the clorox wet wipes with no luck. Nothing seems to work sadly.

I was going to say the magic eraser before I read your post but I see you tried that and it didn't work, it took the paint off my stove! Look in your local hardware store like home depot for a product called spray nine. Oh my, its wonderful! A bit expensive but so worth it. When I tell you it cleans everything I'm not kidding! Good luck!

My standby is Mean Green. Works on everything from grease to grass stains in clothes.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to try out the vinegar first and then go from there. I priced the greased lightening yesterday at the store so I at least know that they have it and how much.

there are coupons for the Greased Lighting often on coupons.com. So you might make a good deal, at some point. Do you know what type of paint is on the kitchen wall? Flat, Matte, Glossy, Semi-gloss....some are harder to clean.... Flat is impossible, they even tell you not to use it if you are painting a kids room the glossier the better for easy scrubbing. I've mixed dawn and vinegar for older grease, to scrub before painting, works fabulous on wood cabinets too! |

if you hit up lowes or homedepot they can give you a sample stick with each finish on it to check.... if you own your home and it is flat, and a hard to clean area, you might think about painting better on the elbows |

I use hair spray for everything.. Besides walls, it's excellent on taking stains out of clothing!! After that, imo the magic eraser is second to none.
