| I was wondering if you pros could tell me what perishable foods freeze well? For instance: can you freeze eggs?? what about cheese?? I'd like to stock up with the coupons that expire 12/31, but don't want to buy stuff we can't freeze and use later. Thanks! |

Eggs can be frozen but not in the shell. Break eggs and stir well, breaking yolk. Do this for as many as you would use at one time. If the eggs are not very big ones, you can break and stir them as above and put them in individual compartments of an ice tray. When frozen, pop them out of tray and put them in a plastic baggie. Cheese can be frozen as well. It is best used after freezing for cooking because the freezing dries the cheese out and makes it somewhat crumbly. Check out this link for other things that can be frozen. http://www.afullcup.com/upload/searc...earchid=730270 HTH....... ![]() Last edited by CarolynC; 12-26-2007 at 11:47 AM. |
