Well, last week i've spent more than i thought i would $51.71 and my total so far is $131.71...i have some items in my stockpile so i'll have to get creative and use it all,also will have to go shopping either tomorrow or wednesday....good luck everyone....

Shellie I am over budget so much I have lost track but I am in next month and I am sticking to it....this makes three months I have gone over...LOL..I am going to be creative for Jan....

Oh my... my budget...  It exploded. Currently have $420 spent in groceries. That's double my weekly budget. And here I thought I got such good deals on those hams. I am going to have to do one more small shopping trip this week for groceries, so we're looking at nearly $500 in groceries.  I guess this is why one keeps a budget, so you can see where you can cut back. Gas is $200 out of $200, and we should be ok with that, as husband has the week off work.

O.K....last week i've spent $26.10....whoo whoo...have $42.19 left...i have so much of leftovers for this week,that i'm not worried about going over budget..(need only eggs and lettuce and hot sauce for tacos)..the only reason would be if i try to use coupons with exp date 12/31...

I'm okay on December....I now intend to set a donation spending limit of $10 for each month (I actually haven't gone over this--just planning ahead-I usually "buy" what is virtually free to donate.) and a stockpile limit (when I buy coupons in quantity to actually use several coupons) of $30 (I will still buy several when an item is at its all time lowest-I will need to have a plan for a limit on this as well.) January $260 groceries and hba $10 donation spending limit $30 stockpile (I say that loosely I don't exactly have or intend to have closets full of stuff.)

Even though I've been off AFC for over a month just looked and we are still on track. Spent $249.12 so far for restaurants, groceries and all HBA, paper products, etc. Also spent $250 on Christmas, of which $25 was for a tree and $55 was for last minute gifts of Xmas eve that hubby forgot to ask me to take care of. Wish he would ask sooner! Anyway still much better on my poor budget than last years $625. Goal for next year is no spending outside of the grocery budget, gas budget, utilities and fixed expenses for at least the first four months of the year and to try to get on solid footing financially. |

Goldie...great job!! I have been over budget but it is a New Year and I am off to good start and I am going to stay in budget. Do you think we should start Jan thread. I love the thread because it keeps me accountable for what I spend!
