Freezing coffee creamer

Can you freeze it? Do you need to open it and take some out before freezing? My SIL and I love the CoffeeMate Peppermint Mocha, trying to figure out a way to have it year round, not just fall & winter. It is only available mid October through Christmas.

I've wondered this too, companies usually recommend not to but I don't know the REAL answer.

I freeze the creamer all the time, especially if i can find a good deal on it. 1 time i found it at the 99 cents only store at 2/$1. We have creamer for months. I freeze just about everything from meat to bread to lunch meat to cheese. I have never had a problem with it.

I am so glad someone addressed this, I have some I need to freeze right now. I am going to put it in ice cube trays. I'm thinking 1 cube should be about right for 1 cup of tea / coffee and if not I'll use 2.

Mine too! I e-mailed CoffeeMate, they said that the Peppermint Mocha will be in the regular line next year.

I love the idea of being able to freeze it, glad some of you have done it. I do like the the ice cube tray idea, but wonder if it will cool down the coffee alot if you just tossed it in in a cube. Of course you could defrost it in the cup first. I think I will try it. I have a raincheck for 10/$10 on the International Delight brand.

Great to know that you can freeze them. Thanks. We go through so much creamer (well mostly me LOL) that when I find a good sale I like to stock up but only have so much room in the frig.

I freeze mine too. I also stock up and let my kidos have some in thier hot chocolate (they drink it year round ) The ice cubes work great just make sure as soon as they freeze to put in a bag they absorb ANY smell or taste near them really quickly. I thaw mine 1?2 way in my cup while coffe brews so my coffee isnt super cooled too

What a great idea to put it in cube trays! I've held back on buying more than one or two at a time because I don't want them to go bad but I won't hold back anymore. Liquid creamer is so much better than powdered. Thank you!!!!
