We go to the Home Depot ones in VA every month. My son started when he was about 1.5yo and my daughter 3.5yo. They can't do everything and need help but they can tap in the nails to finish them off and squeez the glue and attach the stickers that sometimes come w/ the project and they get a little smock and pins for every project they complete. It's really cute and fun!!
