Boy, I wish I could laugh at this, but I've been waiting for someone to invent something like this for years now. I had surgery and had a good portion of my large and small intestine removed because of Crohn's disease. As a result, I can't leave the house if I have eaten in the last 6 hours...and even if I haven't eaten sometimes there are leaks. I am petrified to leave the house. This product would give me a little security.

How would this be different for you or others YMMV by circumstance level need compared to using a whole or part of a liner, pad, or adult diaper placed in back?

Big difference from a diaper. The diapers are really for someone bedridden an incapable of going to the bathroom. You simply cannot wear those under your cloths without looking utterly ridiculous.

The leakage is intestinal juices that are ever present and much less than what you have during a menstrual period. a regular liner just does not work because they are meant to lie flat and are skinny in comparison to this new product which folds to fit (wedge like).

I thought when I first read this thread that, "What a great idea!" I had no idea they had a product like this. I know several people who have had chrons disease, have extreme irritable bowel syndrome (which can cause this problem), had surgery, etc. who probably really needed this product. Perhaps it has been "out there" for quite a long time, but I didn't know it.

Think, ladies, about the status of women 100+ years ago when their cycle came around. Aren't you glad someone came up with the wonderful ideas of pad and tampon!!!???!!!

While the need for these products currently being discussed is certainly not as widespread, there is a real need and this is a wonderful chance for individuals who need it to get out and about with their daily living without the fear of embarassment.

Also, it is wonderful that they have developed pampers, huggies, etc. (you know - no leak, no rash, big on comfort!) I used cloth diapers on all 5 of my kids and tried the disposables available at that time. The disposables didn't work, caused bad rashes, etc. Also, depends and other adult incontingency products are WONDERFUL. My DH had surgery this year, and how thankful we were for the availability of the depends for the period of time he needed to use them.

Thanks for the post of this product. While not currently needed in our household, we are thankful to know it is around.

I don't have Crohn's disease, but I do have a problem, and let me tell you, it is awful to have a leak like this, really awful. I didn't know this pad exsisted....thank you to the OP, I will try it.
