The wording on the coupon I printed out states-

"Simply print out this page and head into a participating sports authority to see if you're eligible for a free Nike Football Gym Sack."

Does this mean I still might not be eligible?

I checked the Sports Authority website but could not find an answer.

Depends on your particular store's manager. The manager at MY store decided to be a hard-a** and not give me one. It's one of those YMMV things - and a very GOOD post - just a manager being "tough" at my store. The ASST. manager could have cared less and was all for giving me a bag...

BTW, it's a very nice bag. I actually got to see it and touch it.

The manager is a SHE. It WAS a waste of my time and gas, BUT......... I sent an email to Sports Authority's customer support, told them what had happened, included the coupon and store address, and suggested that they might want to send one of Nike's bags to me for the sake of good customer relations. We'll see what happens.

For anyone that is in a state that is giving these out I would make sure you call the store first before going there unless you are near there.

I agree with skyesgranny that it all depends on the store and the manager or help or what kind of day they are having.

Whenever I have a print off store coupon I call the store first to make sure they are going to stand by it so that I don't waste my time nor gas. If you get turned down and are near the store again I would try it over just in case you get someone that is willing to give it to you. I have had this happen a few times with these types of free product offers.
