I had a gift idea today and thought I would share. My mother passed away about 18 mos ago and I have all of her handwritten recipes and other favorite recipes. I am going to take the recipes to Kinko's so everyone can have them in her handwriting and on the opposite page, type out the recipe (for easier reading) along with any stories I can remember about the recipe. Then I am going to bind them like a cook book. I ordered the large rectangle dish so I can place the cookbook in the dish and either wrap the box (assuming it comes in a box) or just tie a pretty wired ribbon around the dish. Instant Christmas gift that everyone will enjoy that cost me 1.99, plus the cost of the book which I can't imagine will cost me more than a few dollars. I'm glad I thought of this now and not December 15th! LOL

I got my order this morning. Felt like Christmas opening the boxes!! Love them. Planned to use the small dishes to prep meals to freeze-to bake later. Didn't buy the lids, so I'll use tin foil and/or freezer bags to store. Thanks again! I love them so much I would buy more, but will resist |

| Gift Ideas??
Anyone have gift ideas for these? I got them and was a little bummed at the random sizes (even though I'm the one that posted the sizes!) Anyway, I think they're great, but was hoping to do a 'cookie mix in a jar' type thing for my son's teachers (maybe in a bag, inside the pyrex dish). Any other suggestions for these?

My son is getting married on Saturday. Just a small wedding - actually outdoors and a small gathering in their home after; I'm planning on buying some Wedding Shopping bags from the dollar store and putting stuff in it (besides giving them what they really need and want $$$). I plan on putting Aluminum foil, the baking pans, free cookie sheets this week at Giant Eagle, cookie mixes on sale this week at Giant Eagle, and playtex plastic gloves I bought for free at WAG's a few weeks ago. Is this deal still going? Does this site usually have really good deals in general?
