These people are great every 6 months they send me a coupon for a free sitting and an 8x10 or 11x13 for FREE. We went on Halloween and they gave me 2 5x7 for free as well.. They don't even try to sell you additional photos...

Queenbear, how much did you pay for pics your first time going to them? I ask because I got suckered into a family photo sitting that started out for $10 and by the time it was over I was in for over $300. I would love to get my family pics taken (been about 3 years now) but I can't afford to get into a huge payment right now. Thanks

I didn't pay anything..They take 5 poses for your sitting and choose "one" for free. They run coupons in the smart source all the time. I even have a baby smilestone booklet they just mailed me for a newborn free photos every 3 months. Use the coupon from the link to get your family photo thats what I am going to do. There should not be an additional sitting fee for family members. Do not tell them about the coupon until you've picked out your one 8x10 photo. The only way it will cost you anything is if you buy more. Now you can be really slick like me and go to another location as well and just use a different name and get another photo too, this way I get a family photo and then one of DS. I normally take my one 8x10 and have SIL scan it and create 4x6 to insert into X-Mas card frames. Good Luck

You could also bring the "free" 8x10 to a CVS and have them make a negative (usually a few bucks) for you so that you could get lots of cheaply produced copies.

are you sure they can do that?? I had brought one to Wlagreens and tried to have it scanned on Kodak Picture Machine and it will not copy professional phots unless you have written consent...You can also create a photo album of the photos they take..I downloaded them to my own computer..I got the closeup in an 8x10

legally you OWN your own likeness so unless you SIGN away the right to your likeness with a permission form (license) then you do have the right to reproduce the photo (unless it's news related or a work-for-hire). It's a bit of a grey area...

O.K. went and used my coupon TODAY. cost me absolutley nothing, nada, zip!!! did not try to make me buy anything else in fact gave me a receipt to use to enter to win big portrait package plus 1 800# for another free coupon when I answer automated survey--pics were REALLY NICE, I must admit so good that I spent 20 more dollars , not cause I was being pressured to buy more, cause they were too cute!!!(buy the way they gave me the receipt for another free coupon BEFORE I spent the 20 dollars more)

There is a Portrait Studio that is growing all over the US. I have used them so many times and I only buy the package for $9.95. In fact we are going after the 13th (can only have the package once every 4 months) for Christmas pics.

Their package includes...
one 10 x 13
two 8 x 10's
four 5 x 7's
four 3 x 5's
and 32 wallets

AND, they are printed while you wait like Picture People!

No sitting fees or any other charges (except tax of course) and they take BEAUTIFUL pics! I wish I knew how to put my daughter's pic up there that we had taken a few months ago. Was very good! They do try to sell you more, of course, but stick to your guns. I also have scanned in pics and sent them off to snapfish and places like that with no problems.

Thanks Robin! Found a store in a mall right down the street from me. Now to get everyone together at the same time, even harder to get them to smile. 3 of them 19, 16, and 14. I would love to do this before christmas. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again for all the info.
