Does anyone know anything about the special ads that seem to be running for a very select few Fred Meyer stores? They're branded as "LOW Prices for <Store Name>!" and both advertise some very low prices and have FM coupons valid only at the location listed.

I'm interested in whether people have noticed these ads in other areas and what it is that connects the stores featuring these ads while separating them from stores that aren't featuring these ads.

I've searched and found them for the following locations so far:

Walker Road & Sunset (Beaverton/Hillsboro, OR)

Longview, WA

Bremerton, WA

I am part of the beaverton walker rd group and they have been emailing coupons every week for about a month that go along with the "low" ads for some extremely good deals. I don't know how long this will last but it has been very helpful in stretching the budget.

I would love to know what the walker rd group is. I live in tigard and never hear of good Fred Meyer deals

I know I never used to get anything from them, until I was on their website one day and I put in the zipcode and marked it as "my store" because at the time i lived across the street. I now live in portland, but still shop their and get the deals. Hope this helps.

Go to the walker rd store, i think it's the 3rd one down in the list, and then to the right there is a link to click that says "make this my preferred store". If for some reason there is an issue with the link, go to fredmeyer.com, then at the top click "find stores" and then put in zip code 97005 and it will bring it up for you.
