When is Food Lion going to put a store in my town?
Food Lion currently operates more than 1,200 stores in 11 Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states. We pick sites for stores after performing economic and growth studies of a particular area. We place stores wherever we see a need or demand for one. If you live in or near the 11 state area in which Food Lion operates, your town or city may already be under consideration. I heard about a manufacturer's recall on TV. How do I return the item?
Food Lion is proud to offer its customers the best that the food industry has to offer. On occasion, a manufacturer will issue a recall to ensure only the highest-quality products are consumed. In case of a manufacturer’s recall, Food Lion is happy to replace the product or give customers a refund. Please bring the product back to the store so that we can return it to the manufacturer.

How much advance notice do I have to give to order a special occasion cake?
Food Lion can fill a cake order on a few hours notice (we've done a few emergency cakes in our time!), but we prefer a 24 hour notice for birthday cakes and several days notice for special occasions such as weddings. Large, elaborately decorated cakes take time to prepare, so please plan appropriately. Schedules for our cake decorators vary from store to store, so visit your nearest Food Lion bakery to get the best times to place your cake order.

Can my church pantry receive scratch-and-dent items or day-old deli/bakery items from Food Lion?

This is a YMMV situation. Some stores are okay with this and some do not allow it at all. You just have to check with that particular store!

These recalls are pretty scary. Looks like everything in the markets are tainted. Some of the companies knew their product was contaminated. Now that’s sad. I bow and ask the Lord to bless my food; because you just don’t know what you’re eating.

Local Weather Channel said in Dillwyn it's 72 can that be right. I went out early this morning, now I am in to stay. 72 Wow! I'm so ready for Spring.

Yes, rings up half price for each one, and yes you can usually use 2 Qs for 2 BOGO items.

Thanks for the info.

However, the FL I went too, the 2 items did NOT ring up 1/2 price each. I bought the last 2 packs, used 2 $1.00 q's. I let the cashier scan all my coupons first, since the $1.00 q was a manufacturer's q, then I let them scan my FL card. The receipt shows both items at full price, then at the bottom it took off the $5.19~full price of one of the items.

I was grateful to get 2 six pack rolls for $3.15 total
