Just did this great deal :

Bought 30 Angel Soft 4 roll TP on mvp sale for $1.00 These are part of Big Deal!!
so $30 after mvp....I used the $5/30 FLIP plus got the instant $15 off, making them $10 for 120 rolls!!! Making them .083 cents a roll...Yipee!!

Even with out the $5 FLIP this is a good deal if you buy in 10, 20 or 30 amounts...they would come to .125 cents a roll after instant Big Deal discount!!

I called my local stores I was told they where discontinuing carrying this size, some stores my not have them.

I'm happy with my deal above...just thinking it could be even better, since FLIP takes off pre MVP price soooo... the Angel Softs are $1.59 prior to sale...you could buy 20 that's $31.80 - $5 FLIP -$10 Big Deal(for buying 20) = $5 divided by 80 rolls makes them .0625!!

i think technically you are not supposed to use the angel soft MQ because the coupon states it is for the double rolls. The ones that are one sale are the single rolls.

is sparkle better than brawny? ive been getting 12 brawny @ $1 & 1 my essentials water @ $2.99 and use the $5 off $30 flip and $1 off $3 flip to bring it down to 3.99 (1.99 for water and 16¢ per brawny)

I went today and got:

2 Oscar Mayer Select Cold Cuts = MVP price $3.00 each = $6.00
2 Oscar Mayer Select Hot Dogs = Marked down to $1.71 each = $3.42
3 Rolls of Brawny - $1.00 each = $3.00
18 4-packs of Angel Soft TP = $1.00 each = $18.00

Total before Big Deal savings = $30.42

Used the $5/$30 FLIP and got $15.00 Instant savings to bring total down to $10.42
I had a coupon for a free Oscar Mayer select lunch meat and the cashier took off the reg. price of $3.99.
Also, there were peelies on the OM hot dogs to get $1.00 off when you bought them together with the cold cuts.
So my total came to $5.00 plus tax!

I noticed that you are buying 12 Brawny instead of 10. I assume so you can use the $5 off $30 Flip, but you are paying $1 extra to use the FLIP (since the MEGA only comes off in multiples of 10 items). which means you are only in effect saving $4.

It's still a sweet deal, but if you like Bing Cherries Here is a little bit sweeter deal.

Buy 10 rolls of Brawny = $10, 1 24 pk ME water = $2.99, 1.76lbs of cherries = $3.47 (Retail price of cherries is $3.99lb on sale for $1.97lb in my area)

Total before coupons/mega = $16.46
Use the following Q's $5 of $30, $1 off $3 My Ess, and $2 off $7 Produce = $8. With the $5 mega = $13 in discounts.

I dont really like cherries but ill comb over the ad and see if there is something else. Maybe the purdue perfect portions because they are 1/2 off and a 1/1mq just came out in sundays paper. I think they retail for 7.99ish. But thank you for the scenario now you have me atleast thinking of trying something else out.

Thanks for posting this deal. I wish I had seen it sooner. My friend and I ran to FL to do the deal. We were both able to get some TP, PT, and water for cheap cheap cheap!!! We would have gotten more TP if there were more in stock, but happy with what we got. Thanks again!

I got 30 packs of toilet paper on Friday night. It must have just been stocked up I tried 4 different Food Lion stores hoping to score another 30 packs before the sale went off

There were very anxious to give me a rain check but I had to keep reminding that you loose out on the extra savings with the BIG DEAL. I hate when Food Lion has a good sale, but never has the stock available.

I got a rain check and they put it as costing $1.00 each and to take $5.00 off when 10 are bought. The Manager on duty gave me the rain check and she said to come up to customer service when I redeemed it so the cashiers wouldn't be confused. I am going to keep the Ad also so I can have something to explain the pricing in case customer service is confused.
