My plan:

3 Cheerios = $14.07, $1/3 coupon - 6/3/12 SS
2 Honey Nut Cheerios = $8.38, (2) $0.50/1 IP's, coupons.com
2 Chex Mix = $5.38, $0.50/2 coupon - 6/3/12 SS
2 Suddenly Salad = $4.98, $0.50/2 coupon - 6/10/12 SS
Total pre-MVP = $32.81
Total MVP = $18.23
minus $3 q's = $15.23
minus $10 gas card = $5.23 OOP for 9 items, or $0.58 each

Ok... ? My food lion said that the suddenly salad doesnt count towards the gas card??? Is this right? I think theyre wrong. They said the suddenly salad is betty crocker not general mills. I argued for awhile and gave up.

Lol I kept trying to say that! And I showed them the ad where it was right there. Ughh sometimes couponing is stressful when dealing with people like that.

I didn't get a code or anything. What was I suppose to get? I talked to customer service and they thought I was crazy.....


4 boxes cookie crisp (used 2- 1/2 FL machine) 4.49 pre-MVP
4 bags chex mix (used 2- .75/2 7/8 SS) 2.89 pre-MVP
2 sunkist fruit snacks (used 2-.50/1 7/8 SS) 3.19 prep-MVP

Also used a 3/30 in the transaction and the saving star should get me back .50. My calculation is that I spent well over the 30 and end up spending 11 for the gas card.

Is this a catelina? Should I call them?

Id like to know too bc the same thing happened to me and they told me I only spent $14 towards the gas card and so they basically left it as I didnt spend enough and I didnt see a code on my receipt either.

I would call 1-800-210-9569. It is their Customer Relations Department. The Code is supposed to be on the receipt once you reach the $30 mark.
