Is the price in the ad? If so you can pm @ WM and get both free since Food Lion's items are both "half off" when they're bogo.

My ad shows the Pantene shampoo or conditioner as $3.49, but no price on the styling product.
There were actually 2 May P&G inserts ~~ 4/29/12 and 5/13/12. The BOGO q is in 4/29/12 P&G. There is a $3/2 Pantene q in 5/13/12 P&G which would mean you could get both the shampoo or conditioner with the free styling product for $0.49. The $3/2 q doesn't expire until 6/30/12, so it can be used the entire length of the sale!
The ad also says, "Limit one reward per shopping visit."

Thank you, this is a great deal as well, and I would rather do this than use the BOGOF coupon in case my store won't take full value off. My wonderful DH also found a ton of the 5/13 inserts for me so I can stock back up.

ETA: The styling products are in my ad for $4.29.

I did it twice today with no issues. Just had an issue with a manager rolling her eyes at the cashier b/c the $4 OYNO Cat wouldn't scan and she actually stood across the store and allowed the line to build up. The cashier called her and she made eye contact then refused to come over. Cashier called a higher manager over and he acted crazy and called the first one over (at this point she is trying to look busy) and she (swear on my life) sucked her teeth and acted like she was being bothered. Felt bad for the cashier and the folks waiting in line. This all happened at 7:40 am. Craziness

It is for this very reason that I drive to the next town and do my grocery shopping at another grocery store.

I've read 2 different things now about this scenario:

- Coupon scanned an automatically subtracted 4.99 from bill
- Cashier manually subtracted 3.29 from billl

Can someone who already did this tell me what happened?
Did you end up getting both items for free?
Or since they ring up half price, did you pay $3.29 for two?
Or what exactly?

When I used the B1G1...it prompted the cashier to enter the amount and both times $3.49 was entered and both items were free...I think. I just used the 3/2 and something looks odd on the receipt....so I paid $1.26 for the 2 items.

Are you saying that you bought 4 items for $3.29 each = $13.16
Minus 2 X $3.49 for the BOGO free coupons = $6.98
$13.16 - $6.98 = $6.18 minus $3/2 coupon = $3.18 total
$1.59 each for two and the other two free?

That's exactly why I passed on this deal @ FL. I get grief almost every time I coupon there. They are SO NOT coupon friendly

Ughhhh......I hate math. I did the deal 3 separate times. 2x with the B1G1 coupon and all of those were free~just pay tax. The third time I used the 3/2 coupon and the 2 items were $1.26 total. So I have paid less than $2 for all 6 of my Pantene products. You can only do one of these transactions per visit.

I'm really confused now. When items are BOGO free at Food Lion, don't two of them ring up half price? So, would your BOGO coupon make one free and you would still end up paying half price for the other?

Or did the cashier take off the pre-sale price for the BOGO free coupon?

This deal is a little different. Each item rings up full price and $3.49 is deducted for the styler. Word to the wise: check your receipt because I bought hairspray today that rang up regular price ($4.99) instead of the $3.49 sale price but only $3.49 was deducted for it.

This is not a typical BOGO sale. It's not Buy One Pantene shampoo/conditioner and get another shampoo/conditioner. They are NOT scanning for half price. My shampoo scanned for $4.99, then MVP discount $1.50-, then MVP price $3.49. The styler scanned for $4.29, then MVP discount $0.80-, then MVP price $3.49, then the next line says FREE Pantene Style $3.49-.

At the bottom of the receipt, it says CONGRATULATIONS! You have received your FREE Pantene styler with your purchase of shampoo & conditioner.

Is anyone else running into no stock on the styling products? I went to 4 local Food Lion stores today and they have plenty of shampoo and conditioner but zero stock for stylers. Guess I will need to check the next town over tomorrow.

I found some close out shampoo for $2.29 and used the 3/2 coupon. The styler was free and is still took off the full $3 coupon. A mm for me.
