Go to food lion, take $3, grab a bunch of these oscar mayer lunch meat packs. (75¢ each) Buy them in separate transactions 4 at a time. Pay $3, get a $3 catalina paper coupon back after paying. Buy 4 more and use your $3 paper coupon to pay for them.

Do this over and over, turkey, ham and chicken. When you finish you will have a $3 paper coupon, use that for some bread, if you need it.

Check under catalinas. The cat is listed there. I've been doing five at a time and getting $4 cat. The small packs were on sale for .75 from .99.

Thanks, I will buy five at a time! Eight packs were marked down to 69¢ each so my first transaction was 4 @ 69¢ + tax, paid $2.82. Received a $3 cat. The remaining transactions I did three @ 75¢ & 1 @ 69¢ ..after tax, the total was exactly $3. Paid with the $3 cat and $0 oop

My FL was out of these so I got a raincheck. Then I drove up the road and went to another store that had a bunch of them. I was able to roll it a few times. I did not check to see when the sale ends.

this deal seems to be dead on the little packages. I bought 5 that were marked down to $.62 each and no cat. tried 5 that were $.75 each and no cat. I returned them and then bought 4 10oz packages that were $2.30 each, used a $3/$8 meat, spent $6.20 and got back $3.

Weird that it didn't work. Let me ask you this.... after you returned them, did you go back to the SAME register line as the beginning? If not, then that Catalina machine may have been turned off.

Catalina machines were on. I always check that. I tried 2 different registers and neither worked. This was at about 2 this afternoon.

same thing happened to me. I bought 5 packages (around 1.30pm) and didn't receive the catalina (the machine was on). I returned them, I was so disappointed

I was so disappointed too. I'm kicking myself for not going last night. FL is about 1/2 a mile from where I live, I just couldn't get motivated yesterday to go.

I still ended up getting a decent deal on OM lunch meat but not free or a MM.

Oh, that is terrible!

I went today and did 4 transaction between 2:00 and 2:45.
I found about 12 packages that were marked down to 39 cents!
I had my best shopping trip EVER at Food Lion today by combining the OM cats, the FlLIPs for meat, produce, and cheese plus the q's I got at the kiosk for My Essentials brand items.

I was able to get all this for only $8.00 oop:

15 OM lunchmeats
2 Borden individually sliced cheese packages
1 1/2 lb of apples
1 lb roma tomatoes
1 Peter Pan peanut butter
1 My Essentials grape jelly
1 My Essentials raisin bran
1 My Essentials root beer (2 ltr)
1 Pkg of Pork Chops
1 Pkg of Ground Angus Beef

I left lots of the OM for others, but wishing I had bought more now if the deal is dead....
