Okay, did this today.

The good news: Register prompted cashier to take off the shelf price for the Hormel of $2.69! Hurray for overage!!

The bad news: Major beepage. Only one of the B1G1 Hormel q's went through. I suddenly got confused for some dumb reason and thought I had to buy 8 instead of 4, so ran to grab 4 more and added them to my bill. Cashier still had to call manager to push the 2nd q through. When the total came out to over $12, I knew something was wrong. Took my receipt to the car to study it and realized I had paid $8.00 extra for the 4 Hormel that I added. Returned the 4 Hormel, big pain in the butt to explain at CS, but ended up with an $8 refund. Paid $4.78 which included all of the above PLUS a $3.08 gallon of milk!
