I went in and bought 15 brand name items and nothing printed. Went in again and bought 5 and nothing printed. The cashiers just look at me like I'm nuts, no nothing like that printed, sorry (but the machines WERE working because OTHER coupons printed from them). I emailed FL the first time and gave them all the info but they didn't even respond (I NEVER get a response from them). Is there anything I can do? I was sorely tempted to just return it all and stick them with the loss because I am so fed up with this. I don't know what else to do? (and admittedly have had some unhelpful, gee sorry for your luck cashiers). Wondering if anyone else is having issues and what to do????? |

Try calling Food Lion's customer service at headquarters 1-800-210-9569. They've always been really helpful when I've called in the past. You might want to have your receipt handy when you call, too. Hopefully they can help!

Same thing happened to me. I bought 25 FL brand items yesterday (Weds) and nothing printed out. The clerk started ringing up the next person, and I was like "hey, I'm not going anywhere without my catalina!" He didn't see the big deal. At customer service they tried ringing up all the items again to see if the cat printed, and nothing. So they called a manager who initialed my receipt and told me to call the FL customer service number on the bottom of the receipt. Haven't done that yet, since I really don't feel like it... but hey, $6.25 is a substantial amount (to me) so I might as well get it over with. Either that, or return the items. I only got them because of the catalina.

I would def. Call just in case it is not in the system at certain stores so they can correct the issue . Is anyone getting a cat. Popping out if they are that would tell you if it is certain foodlion stores if not then it is a big issue with the promo.

I had it happen to all my orders yesterday so I went to the manager and they refunded me the $$ back in cash that I should have gotten via the catalina.

Well, I got home last night and in the mail Food Lion had sent me the equivalent $$ coupons to both my transactions. I only emailed them about the first which was $3.75 and they sent me 5 $1.00 cats. However, the second transaction was $1.25 so I'm not sure if they were being generous, or saw that both did not print. There was an admonishment on the enclosed letter to be sure to use my MVP card - but I did! so that wasn't the problem. Wish they had emailed me, but glad I came out ahead in the end either way. Thanks for the suggestions and Thanks! for the phone number, that will be useful!!

Did they say that it was a system error or anything i am sure they are getting a lot of phone calls. I am so glad that they are taking care of their customers and sending the cats. To you. The is great.

i have received a total of 3 $10 cats, 5 $5 cats, sever al $3 cats and 9 $1 cats..... not once have they missed here in Va?? good luck though. like others have said, i am sure customer service will get things straight for you. Sent from my iPad using AFullCup |

I am in Va. also --- cat did not print yesterday for $10 . Cashier shrugged (gave me that what you talking about look ) had her call manager and he gave me a $10 FL giftcard . So all is good !
