If you have more than one MVP card tied to your account you can only get the 2.00 once no matter how many cards are on the account. Your better off getting cards not tied with any other cards. CVS is the same way.

Don't have my receipt here w/ me but was like $2.84 for 6

Did not get a -2 GM discount

Total was $4 and some change
Asked my cashier about the discount and was told it was only for items pictured in the flyer???? I was rushing and didn't have time to go further into it.

Wouldn't the BTFE be a GM deal? Would FL get their money back from GM like a coupon? Or is the $2 off a Food Lion deal?

I am questioning this b/c if it is a reimbursement from GM then we should be getting $4 off if we purchase 10 items. I don't understand why you can get 40 or more BFTE if it is a limit.

I went to 2 Food Lions this morning. I bought 5 soups at each one. The first store I did not get the $2 off, the second store I did. Those were the only btfe items I bought, so there is just a glitch in the system.

Shouldn't your transaction look like this?

If they really do ring up as a true BOGO, you may as well buy 6 instead of 5 since the 6th would be the "GO" part of the "BOGO".

Hm now I'm confused I went back this morning and it was the exact same $1.58 for 5 so I just went and grabbed my receipt.

Buying 6 is the much better deal...I'm shocked I didn't get the 5th for 1/2 off going to ask them about this when I go back this afternoon....and buy 6

The 5th mix rings up at full price because FL only allows for 2 free items during a BOGO sale. Therefore, if you buy 6, then you will have to pay full price for both the 5th and 6th packs. Learned the hard way.

I did 3 transactions today. 1) 5 soups, no $2 off. 2) 5 muffins, $2 came off. 3) 5 muffins, $2 came off. Does anyone know if the soup is supposed to give the $2 off? I've gotten it 2 out of 4 times.

The soups are on the list of participating products, and are in the picture on the top. So we should be getting the $2 off. Maybe print the list and take it to the store.

I would take the printed list in, if they give you a hard time call the corporate office.

I have a recommendation for people getting muffin mixes: Get a jar of wheat germ (usually found in the cereal aisle) and add 1/3 cup to the mix to add some nutritional value and taste. (I just pour some in, don't measure). Also walnuts or pecans chopped up, just add them after you mix it up.
