q for $1.50/1 P&G 5/1....so $40 - $5 - $3 so two boxes for $32, and don't forget you get $5 when you purchase $25 or more so that makes it $27 for two boxes

I ran in real quick to try out the P&G and the Scott deal. This is what I got:
6-Pantene items ($3 each)
3-Ivory soap 3pks ($1 each)
1-Single Scott PT ($1.39)
1-Single Scott TP ($1.18)
1-Marcal Small Steps Napkins ($1.99)

Used (3) $3/2 Pantene, (3) Ivory $1/1, (1) $1/1 Small Steps and a $3 cat from the splenda deal I did last week. Also, received the $4 off instantly for P&G deal.

I paid $7.54 and received a $2 cat (from Scott's) for next time. Not too bad. My mom loves Pantene and Ivory so they will go in her mothers day basket.

Just came from Food Lion and my heart is still beating fast...found some great deals. First off I could not find the Right Guard body wash for a good enough price ANYWHERE so I used my BOGO coupons on the RG deodorant FL had on Sale for 1.99 and the cashier took off 2.99 for each coupon(sounds like a deal to me) also came across the AIRWICK starter kits marked down to $5.99 (everyone should have a coupon $4.00 from this past Sunday.(of course I didnt have my coupon on me but I will be going back. Purex is also marked down to 3.99. Kraft Style mac n Cheese is 2/5. (for anyone who didnt get to use all of your $1.00 coupons at HT. BIC Soliel razors was on sale as well for $3.99 (.99) with $3.00coupon I picked up three. Duncan Hines brownies on sale as well 4/5 with .55 coupon (.75cents a box) I picked up some snapple with the $1.00 off coupons I printed on line. Sorry for not listing all the items like above but I'm in kind of a rush. And just wanted you all to know.

My trip today totaled $146.29 with coupons final total 57.57!!! (I might have to play those numbers)

I'm somewhat new to this - is the $20 needed to be purchased before or after coupons are applied? Just curious because I love the deal that vbjrmktb (TY, btw! )put together but it seems higher than needed - precoupon, I'm seeing more than $30 purchased. Is that just because you needed the extras? Or am I missing something here? I appreciate any help!

It's before coupons. It's just what I had coupons for and what I needed to stock up on. My daughter goes through a bottle of shampoo it seems like every 2 or 3 days and I swear she must be supplying her whole gym class with tampons! The soap was free after the q's for I just through those in as well.
