Rain check policy
I am relatively ne to FL. Could someone tell me what the rain check policy is? At our FL this week they have whole fryers for .47 lb. I know they will be sold out when I get there, and i'd like to stock up on 10 - 12. (There's no limit in the paper ad.)

I used to work at foodlion, the only time we limited the amount of something you could get was when it was bogo which was a limit of four. The only thing that we would ask is if you planned on coming in and getting a lot of meat was that you called the meat market manager and let him order you extra chickens or meat.
I'm a Sales Assistant at Food Lion and I'm happy to hear that you're a new shopper.
Rainchecks are vouchers that we give customer when we are temporarily out of stock on MVP items. Rainchecks never expire. They can be brought to any Food Lion store and they must be presented to the cashier before the item is scanned.
A properly filled out raincheck from your item description would include:
Store # 1234
Item Description: Holly Farms Whole Fryers (I assume they were Holly Farms because they usually are)
Sale price per pound (for random weight items only) $0.47 or $47˘
Authorized Signature: [Associate Signature]
And on the top of the raincheck: "No Limit"
The raincheck would have to be scanned for every individual whole fryer you bought because the weight of each one varies.
I hope that helps some!
