I've been shopping at Food Lion since we moved here to TN in '95, but new to the Q thing there. I'm noticing that they handle q's a little different than the other stores around here, so am wondering a few things:

FLIPS: How do these work? I could only print 1, so does the FLIP take off for each item, if I buy more than I of the item? How can I get more FLIPs?

Food Lion Coupons: I found a new FL booklet, "Seasonal Wellness" at my store the other day (I have a couple of extra, if anyone would like to trade, PM me for a list of the q's included ). Can you use a store q combined with a MQ, like at most other places? And if so, can you use a store q, a FLIP, and a MQ together on one item, or would it need to be either a store q OR a FLIP?

(Darn it! While I was looking at the 10 q's in the booklet, I just realized that I bought some of the Ragu there, and there is a .50/1 Ragu q in this book...I could have used some of these!)

We have made the FLIP's into PDF documents so that you can print more than one. See my siggy below for the FLIP's PDF Thread. You can only use one "like" FLIP per transaction. You can use multiple FLIP's, but they cannot be the same FLIP. Example, you can use ONE Eggs FLIP, ONE Buns FLIP and ONE Deli FLIP in the same transaction.

A FLIP is considered a STORE coupon, so you can only use ONE FLIP and ONE MQ per item.

Actually using a Manufactures Qpon and a Store Qpon together is a hit or miss thing. Their policy states they allow just 1 coupon per item! So it's either the Store Qpon or the Manu Qpon.

Some stores allow you to use both BUT you need to make sure that you have as many items as you have coupons! Bananas and such are great little fillers

My store lets me use them together and I am allowed to use as many flips in an order they over ride them for me.

Some FLIPs are manufacturer's q's so make sure you check them to see if they start with a 5 - if they do they can't be combined with other q's. If they start with a 0 my store lets me combine them with a q that starts with a 5 or a 9. I hear some stores won't let you but I have no issues at the 2 I shop at. Oh, I can only use 1 like FLIP per transaction, but they don't care if I do multiple transactions. YMMV

I have now heard that the corporate policy is 1 coupon per item period, and my stores have been implimenting this for alittle while now.
