Could someone out there help me understand how this $20 turkey coupon works? Shop for $45 everytime 6 weeks out 8, means $45 before coupons or your total should be $45? This is after FL discounts for sure...

I think it is $45 before mvp and such. I dont really know because i always spend over that much at FL everyweek. You also have to give them the turkey card to be enrolled in the program.---Never mind i just read through another thread and i think it's after mvp and coupons.

My total after q's and MVP was around 47 dollars - they're not supposed to count alcohol or tobacco into the required total...I had 12 dollars in beer so that would mean my total was 37 - I still got my turkey credit.

I went last week and my total before MVP was $50ish and after Q's and MVP was $31 and I still got my turkey credit.

Also, when you complete this, you get a $20 Coupon to buy whatever you want in the store, it doesn't have to be a turkey (you might not be able to buy cigarettes or alcohol)

It used to be $35 and when my son was on formula, I would just go buy a can of formula and a couple of other things and hit the $35 each week not problems.

Looks like a YMMV thing? My total today before MVP & Q's was $69.17, total after MVP & Q's was only 31.85, and I did not get a credit...

I went last week and this week and earned the credit each time. Last week after MVP my total was over $45 and after Q's it was $18. This week my total after MVP was around $70 and after Q's it was $42.

I just came from FL. I had only earned one Turkey credit so far. A lady in front of me asked if she could use my MVP card so of course I let her. She had a huge cart full of stuff. I ended up moving to another register since the manager came over and got me and opened up another lane. When I checked my reciept on my way out of the store I noticed that I now have 3 credits! Whoo hoo! Looks like you can do more than one transaction in the same week and earn credit for them. Thanks stranger lady who borrowed my card!

Last week my total was over 45 after mvp and coupons, so I earned my first credit. I went this morning and my total before coupons was over 45 but after q's it was under 40and I did not get a credit. My receipt still reads 1 credit earned

So now I have a question, once you scan the in ad turkey ticket the first time, do you have to bring it every time to scan?

I was wondering this also. I went tonight and my total was over $45 before mvp and q's but i didnt get a credit. I was pretty upset about it but i did get 2 packs of cigs for DH so maybe i didnt qualify before that. Should i use the turkey card everytime?

You only have to scan it the first time. It does say on the q that tobacco and alcohol purchases don't count towards your 45 min. I don't know if that was an issue for either of you. But, I only scanned the q the first time and I'm up to 3 credits now.

Second week, I just figured it out. It says: buy $45 with your MVP card. Your total after MVP card (before Qs), should be 45. After that you can down it up to "0" if you have enough Qs.

I asked the cashier last week and she said it dosnt matter as long as you spend $45 6 times before the end date (Nov 24?) I was happy to hear that b/c I thought it was 1 x per week as well.

Also I spent $50 after coupons/mvp and the lady next to me asked to use my card so I have 2 credits on my mvp.....Im going back today, the cashier also told me it is AFTER MVP & coupons ........

Well, I spent over 50 this weekend and it did not give me another credit! I still have 3. :O(

Oh and the manager told me that its one per week and they count their weeks from Wednesday to Tuesday. Each new sale ad is a new week. I wonder if any of them really know how this all works or if they are just 'assuming?"

That is correct...the new week is the ad week. It runs Wed to Tues of the next week! HTH

Right, but I got 2 credits in one day so I don't know that the weeks even matter.

Ugh this is sooo confusing. I went today and bought $67 stuff oop and did not get a credit. I asked the cashier and she said its only week 3 and I have 3 credits already so tomorrow it renews and Ill be eligible for another credit. I said Oh well another cashier gave me wrong info-she said it was $45 6 times ANYTIME by Nov 24. From now on I will go every wed and do my grocery so there is no confusion. From my understanding its $45 per week for 6 weeks AFTER MVP and Coupons.

I think most of them are just "assuming"!!!! Oh well we will figure it out on our own!

I work for Foodlion. it is once a week Wed-Tues. No matter how many times you shop in that one week you will only get one credit, unless you have more than one mvp card. After you have earned that 6th credit it will automatically take the 20.00 off your next visit. So if you used your MVP card for yourself, earn your 6th credit, and let the person behind you used your card they will get your credit.

ok so me working for f.l here it is. only 1 turkey point per week. week 5 starts weds. down from corporate, cigs, alcool, money orders western union is now included thanks to upset customers calling corp. it is 45..00 or more in 1 transaction after coupons, mvp and tax. so really you need 48.00 to cover tax difference. hope this helped

It is definately before coupons, because Today my total before coupons and after MVP was around 71.00 and was only 30.12 after coupons. I still got my 5th turkey credit.

I am always lending my MPV card out to other customers that don't have one with them, but I let them use my old one that I had lost and found a few months later after getting a new one.
