Food City reciept changes?

Has anyone noticed that Food CIty is changing over there reciepts. No longer do they print your coupon saving coupon by coupon at the bottom, nor do they print out what your saving from your club card. Most disturbing of all, I went in to cash in some of my glade coupons and noticed my total was very off it was more than what it should have been with tax.. I looked at my reciept to find out that , Food City is now charging you tax on the "taxable value" of your purchase. MEANING, your total before coupons and savings.I thought you were only taxed on what you actually paid. I'll upload a reciept if you want to see it. I am to say the least very angry. Is it just me, have they been doing this and i just never noticed before. How is it legal? How is it they charge 2 different tax rates and cvs ,wm and everybody else only charges 9.25. I just think it's bad business, i live on a fixed income, my husband makes okay money as one of their employees. this really eats into what you save when using coupons. Can anyone advise me...........

Oh no. I hope that doesn't happen here. Our store just changed over this year to the receipts that show the coupons at the bottom. They even tell you what the item the Q was for. I love them! I don't think they give you a final total of your ValuCard savings, though. They just say "you saved" after each item. I don't know about the tax. Maybe someone else will post that knows about this.

I found my receipt from Friday and it listed each coupon. It also told me how much I saved, how much the ValuCard savings were and the total. Just fyi
