| Is anyone else willing to help with the shopping list?
I've offered to help with the FC Shopping List. I looked at the Food City sale paper last night and it has 20 pages. I don't think I can do this all by myself on dial-up. If several of us teamed up, we could divide the pages and it would go much quicker. I've already looked at the directions for compiling the shopping list and it looks very easy and straightforward. Is anyone willing to help? |

| I can help
I am already doing a blog for 5dollardinners.com that shares weekly sale items in conjunction with a recipe of the week. Just let me know what I need to do and when to do it. I'm a dedicated Food City shopper!

Thanks for asking! I haven't done it yet, but it sounds simple and there are lots of people here to help you if you need help. At first, I thought you had to type out the whole sale paper, LOL. You don't. The first thing you do, is go to the Coupon Database. Pick an item from the sale paper and search for it on the data base using the search function. If a coupon for this item is in the database, you click on the little newspaper icon to the left of the search results. Then you select the store name and fill in the details like the sale dates, product name, price, etc. After you have it all filled out, hit submit. You are just matching coupons to sale items and you do it one at a time. I was concerned about losing data because I am on dial-up, but once you hit submit for that particular item, you cannot lose it. You will be given complete instructions when you sign up. You will also be directed to a board where you can get much more info and lots of good tips to make it easier. There are also incentives for helping. If you are interested or need more info just post on the Contact Us forum. It's under A Cry For Help near the top. This is more like an email. You won't be able to see any of the posts, except your own, and they reply very quickly. :-) I'll be happy to help you if I can. I am very much a newbie, but would like to see a shopping list for this store. If nothing else, maybe we can just list the best sales and coupon matchups. HTH |

Then, we can just divide up the pages of the sale paper when it comes out and get started. Maybe by then, more people will have signed up to help. I'll keep watching the board and let you know something soon. Thanks again for offering to help. |
