For many of us, Food City is one of the few stores we have in our area.

I shop there. We only have Food City, Wal-Mart, and Save-a-Lot in my town, so there aren't a lot of choices. I'll drive a few towns over to Kroger if there's a really good sale, but Food City is usually my go-to place for groceries.

We have Food City and a very small Walmart. I either shop Food City or drive about 20 mins to the next store.

In Maryville, TN I love to shop Food City for their meats. Much better quality than other stores like Kroger, Walmart, etc.

I buy all of my meat at Food City, and I usually buy what is on sale for that week.

Fairlight - Just noticed the words at the bottom of your post. My daddy was a music director at church for many years and I learned those words from singing that song many times. Also love a similar song, "There is Power in the Blood" =o)

I love that one, too. I'm an old hymn gal, LOL. We sing mostly contemporary praise songs now, but I do love the beautiful old hymns. They are balm to my soul.

My town has Ingles, Walmart and Food City. I don't shop at Food city much because Ingles doubles 3 coupons which is better than nothing I guess. I did get free hersheys air delight at FC when they had B1G1 sale but only go when I see a good matchup in their ad.

I shop at Food City. I got a deal around the first of July on Lay's Potato Chips. They were 2 for $7 in Food City's lock down price flyer, but the first week of the month they were buy one get one free in their sales ad flyer...I paid $1.75 per bag plus tax. I thought it was a good deal! I don't often find coupons for Lay's. We also take advantage of their 5 for $19.99 meat deals and the 5 for $6.99 fruits and veggies deal. Also, found bread for 99 cents!

This is what I mainly buy at Food City. I know a lot of times there will be several BOGOs on chips. It's a good deal even without a Q. They will often put hamburger and hotdog buns on BOGO, too.

I shop there and have the fortune(or misfortune depending ) of working there so I try to post deals when I see them since Im there 24/7 it seems. They def have the best meat and produce, not many sales but when they do theyre pretty sweet! The closest store to my house in either direction is FC so eh..other then that we do have Ingles and Kroger and SaveAlot as well as WM but honestly Im just to lazy to drive 30 mins out of my way to one of those when I can get to FC in 10 min flat. Ill buy things that are cheaper at those stores if Im in the area already(I go to WM quite a bit) other then that FC...
