Hey!! I currently shop at the Crestview Publix (located in NW Florida Panhandle) and I have read everywhere that Publix will accept competitors coupons, but I was just wondering if any of you Florida shoppers had had any success with Food Lion or Kroger coupons?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I am planning my grocery trip for tomorrow, and there are some awesome FLIPS that I want to use if I can....

If in doubt, call the store. Customer Service will tell you exactly which ones they accept as each store is different.

Mine wouldn't but it may just be a per store situation. You can always try or ask CS when you get there or call ahead.

My store accepts Food Lion and Target Qs. I would head over to customer service first

I havent tried it but there are no food lions near me.
I did try CVS and they would not take it. My order was 50 % of what I could have bought at CVS so I think they should have.

All of the Publix stores that I have been to in central fl. take both Fl coupons and target....

My Publix(Lake City) takes both FL and WD coupons as they are competing grocery stores!!

I was told by CS that as long as it is a COMPETING GROCERY STORE they will accept the Qs. I asked about CVS and WAGS Qs, but those were a NO because they are not considered grocery stores!

My Publix Store in Port Orange, FL. does NOT consider Target Coupons as a Competitor. In other words, my Publix Store will only take Grocery Store Competitor Chains coupons and Target is NOT consider a Grocery Chain. YES, to Food Lion, Winn Dixie, and Albertson's.

My Publix store in Orlando FL accepts Winn Dixie, Albertson's, Target, and Food Lion q's (haven't asked about Kroger, but considering we don't have a FL anywhere around here I bet they'd take Kroger too). I've yet to have a q turned down..... I sure to my Publix

My Publix in central florida has a big sign posted...they accept target coupons, but it doesn't say anything about any others stores like WD. I would call the store just to be safe!

I am in the Tampa area, and they have taken my Food Lion coupons (and there is no Food Lion around here!!)

I usually use U-Save coupons for $5 off a 50.00 purchase.

I try to use my Target coupons at Target especially if they equal out to free things/less hassle.

It is a per store basis. It is up the the Store manager how to interpret the Corporate Policy. Some are stricter than others regarding the policy.

I would just talk to your Publix and see what their views are on the competitor coupons.

I just called corporate and she said its because target isnt a grocery store. I told her so what is supertarget and walmart grocery store than?? I have all 3 within 5 minutes of each other. she is going to call the store directly and get back with me since I told her my friend uses the same coupons at this store. Very confusing..

My local Publix just started accepting Target q's - I'd say in just the last two months or so. They will NOT accept CVS, wags or BRU q's. I had not even thought of asking about FL since I've never seen one anywhere.

The Publix's here in Tallahassee take the Food Lion because Harvey's bought then out and we have Harvey's here.

One Publix by house house takes Publix q's. SO last week Chex Mix was on sale 3/5 I was able to use Target q's for $1/1 then on the bags were .50/2 I got 24 bags less then $5. We asked first, store manager said they take Target q's then of course when I handed them to the cashier she made a big deal about it left me standing there while she huffed and puffed over to CS. After telling her several times I asked the manager & being ignored. The store manager comes over smiles and tells her my coupons are all good!!! Later that night I went to get more at a different Publix and was told that store does not take Target q's. I am gonna try the first store once more before the sale ends. Cant beat it for about .25 a bag!! I LOVE PUBLIX THOUGH THEY TAKE ALL MY COUPONS!!

It would be worth the try...I have used the fl ones at my publix and I am central florida.
