Hi Katrink, i'm reading your post was looking for some one to teach my daughter how to use coupons, she lives in pinella's too, and shops at publix but does not know how to use the coupons to her benifit, is it possible that you could show her the ropes she is very new to couponing and does not relize what a great benifit they are. I live in ohio, I try to explain to her on the computer but she just gets lost also i'm not familiar with their coupon policys.

I'm also in Jax! I mainly shop @ the Commissary but Publix is #2. I'm new to AFC & couponing so I'm in the process of trying to compare prices between both stores & figure out which store has the better deal(s). This is not an easy task... If I didnt have 3 small kids that went EVERYWHERE with me (my husband is Navy & frequently gone), I would spend a whole day going to both stores to compare prices & then plan accordingly. Any suggestions or advice?

Go to their website and look at their current flyer, then compare with your needs and the q's you have. I have found this to be the easiest way. Keep in mind that it won't include the items that the manager has chosen to put on the clearance tables, so be sure to take your entire binder, not just the q's you intend to use. These unexpected little surprises at the clearance table are the best parts of my shopping trips!

Palm Beach County here! I am a newbie I went out for the first time Friday after reviewing my choices all week. My Publix takes Winn-Dixie and Target coupons only. I saved $76. Not bad for a newb. I usually just run to the store and get what I need. Not anymore! Now I only buy what I have coupons for. The deals are out there. I am looking to save more on my next run. Good luck to all.

I can say I've successfully completed my second mission with savings of $109. Really good shopping day for my family. I managed to obtain 97% of my grocery list using coupons and getting the most out of Publix's BOGO deals. Thanks for all the guidance.
