As you read through the deal discussions and sales posts you will notice many things that do not pertain to Florida…

As sad as it may be…

• Publix in Florida does NOT have Penny Items/ Buys
  
• Publix in Florida does NOT double coupons
  
• Ads in Florida (for the most part) run from Thursday through Wednesday (Pensacola area Publix coupons run Wed - Tue.)
  
• B1G1 items ring up the first item as full price and the second item as $0 (other states ring up both items half price).

I hope this gives some insight as you read and participate in the Publix Forum.

My store in Tallahassee (north florida) used to ring up both B1G1 items at half price, but i just noticed two days ago that they are ringing up 1st at full price and 2nd at $0.

My publix in Sarasota rings up both items full price and then automatically credits the second item.

Yes, I can too in Tampa/ Wesley Chapel/ Pasco County/ Hillsborough County

That is what mine does too, so it makes the 2nd item FREE $0. :-)

I'm also allowed to use 2 coupons on B1G1 free items AND my Publix does not hassle me about combining MFQ and store coupons, lets me use competitors coupons, and I can use internet printables with no problems. Much different from the Walgreens around here. Yikes!

Publix around Tampa are great about coupons! I too can use 2 on a BOGO. The only thing is they don't consider Super target as a competitor! Nutso's =)

[size="3"]Hi nice to see someone here from Tallahassee=)I love all the Publix's here. The one at Timberlane ROCKS!!! It is a small store but I love the cashiers. What Walgreens so you shop at. The ones I shop at are GREAT. Now CVS is a different story. I hate almost all of them. The cashiers are RUDE and they are always out of everything.

Maybe in NSB but not in South Orlando. You can use one coupon on a B1G1 item it won't deduct on the second coupon since there was no charge rang up on the second item.

I'm also an avid CVS Shopper. I understand what you mean about the CVS cashiers in-town. The CVS at Lake Ella and the Capital Circle/Appalachee intersection have the nicest cashiers and managers.

The 2 Publix's I go to here in Miami, has been ringing the BOGO's at full price also for both and then crediting the 2nd item. Hope I am able to use the BOGO coupons. Will see! Keep your fingers cross. I have never tried a BOGO Q on a BOGO sale. Sooooo excited to see what happens. Neither stores give me a hard time about my Q's. The one near Mall of America says they take all stores Q's (Yippeee!) but the one on SW 8th street takes All Target Q's, Winn Dixie, Albertson's (go figure since there arent any more here in Miami), and I believe she said Sedano's.

Love this website. Have learned so much these past few months. Y'all keep saving!!! LOL

I never go to the one near Lake Jackson but I do shop a lot at the Lake Ella. It is a big store so I know I will find more stuff but man it is busy all the time. I do not like the CVS there. There is one lady (can I say her name here) that is so rude!! I know Rick the manager and he is nice. They are always out of everything. Where you think the night before Thanksgiving. I met a lady but I did not ask what board she is on. Nice to "meet" you.

What Publix is not allowing you to use Target Q's. All the ones that I have been to let me use them, I also use FLIP coupons too. I am in NW tampa

I'm in East Orlando and stop in at any of 6 different Publix stores in and around my area. I've never once had any issue with them taking 2 q's on BOGOs. No one even bats an eye. They don't consider Target a competitor, but I have been able to use FLIPS without question. I've never tried wags q's, though.

The Publix in Palm Bay (south Brevard County ) won't take Target coupons either because they don't consider them a competitor.

But I did ask today about Food Lion and they said yes for right now. Which is funny because there's not a FL in the whole county.

I'm going to try next shopping trip and see what happens.

Publix Florida shopper here.
I know we don't have double coupons but there are really great deals.
Today I bought 14 boxes of kraft mac and cheese crackers, 8 cans of Rotel tomatoes 1 bag of lettuce 1# of roma tomatoes and a loaf of bread for $1.89
cant beat that. I saved $42.03!!! Which I can by meat at Sams Club.

4 mac&cheese crackers FREE
2 crescent rolls 0.67 ea
1 helluva good dip CLEARANCE plus q 0.63
6 rotel tomatoes 0.14 ea
bread 0.89
bananas 1.32
mushrooms 1.99
Makoto ginger dressing (YUMMO!) 2.99 (Located in produce section)

Used a FL $2 off $5 on anything in the produce section.


Savings $31.26
OOP: 8.52

I was happy with my trip in the LOND. It was the first time I used a FL coupon and a BOGO on a BOGO item.
