Need some help!

Hi all,
I am in need of some help. I actually live in TN, but am going to Florida at the end of the month. I have a huge group that I will be feeding all week, and just realized that unlike here in TN no one in FL doubles coupons

Within just a mile of where we are staying is Publix, Winn Dixie, and Target, so I have to make the most out of sales and coupons.

Any advice?

Yeah - find a Walmart. Publix is good ONLY if you are hitting their BOGO sales and have coupons they are very over priced. Target is Ok but you will get better deals at Walmart.

Yes, I am a shopping queen here, but ours doubles. Generally are the Publix and Winn Dixie bogo sales cheaper than Walmart there? We are going to Orlando, so Im sure everything at every store will be a bit more pricey? The stores closest to us are actually in Kissimmee.

I am guessing you will be staying near Disney which is very South of Orlando. It is technically in Orlando but most everyone here knows it is really in Kissimmee. The BOGO's are only cheaper because you get two items. If you are going to buy produce it might be better to price match at Walmart and use Aldi for your price basis. You can get their ad on the internet so it is easy to PM those items.

My daughter attends Palm Beach Atlantic University, but we are from Cali, but a great place to visit is McCarthys wildlife sanctuary, you have to make reservations but it so cool, $25. A person, But you get up close and have a private tour, lion tigers and such. Society of the four arts is a great garden to walk around, so lush and beautiful, free, walk down Worth Ave, the Rodeo Drive of Florida, free, City Place is a nice open shopping area with good food and a movie theatre. If you like museums, the Flager museum is very nice, but pricey! For couponing, there's CVS, plublix, Winn Dixie, Target, Walmart.

Go to maps.google.com and put in the address you are going to be staying at then when it pulls up the address put in grocery or pharmacy and hit search and you will find what is near there.

There's also a lot of dollar stores around there and I wasn't surprised, some of their items were cheaper than WM's "always low price"

Coming from an area where our s/t is 8%, I like it when FL's tax is 7% although the amusement tax in DisneyWorld or UniversalOrlando is always higher. Everything is high inside the parks because they're the happiest place on earth (?!)

Florida sales tax is 6%. Each county can add a surtax on top of that. Osceola County (which is near Disney) is 7% and Orange County (which is where Disney & Universal are located) is 6.5%. Hotel rooms and rental cars in Orange County have tourist taxes on top of those rates.
