Did a quick trip this morning, bought:

2 Aunt Jamima French toast (my store was OOS on pancakes) BOGO 3.39-1/1 doubled=1.39 for both

6 Yakisoba BOGO 1.08-1/2 doubled to 1.08 on first two equalled four for free. Third coupon didn't double but only paid 8 cents for last two, OK with me LOL = 8 cents for six meals

1 Belvita 3.99-75c/1 doubled to 1.50= 1.49

1 Dole Fruit Bowl 2.19 -1/1 cat (surprisingly it was an MQ starting with 5 and doubled!)=19 cents

5 Michelina meals 4/$5 -1/5 MQ (on cardboard from inside a package) doubled=5/4.25

Also had a couple of $1 cats from buying the delmonte canned veggies 4/$5 last week and using 1/5 MQs which doubled

Total OOP $2.44 savings of 88% (two dollars less than I thought--I wondered if I forgot something or if something did not scan but when I double checked my receipt I realized that my $1 cats from last week automatically doubled too!!) not sure if this was a glitch??

I didnt go to my regular store because I was running errands. The cashier called over another cashier after looking at my 6 coupons. The Orbit gum coupon says "available at Wal-Mart". They took them.

Very happy about this event. Managed to get a lot of items for very little. We kept rolling the $2 cat that printed (that doubled) from the ice cream to eat up cost of the other items we were buying that had no coupon and also to cover what the other coupons did not. All in all a great 3 days plus the Wednesday. Hope everyone has done good this time around.

I've made 3 small trips to the doubles event.

I'm glad MANY of you have good FF's to shop at.....
I don't so I rarely make a trip unless it near FREE and I really need it!

It seems the FF registers @ the 2 stores I shop NEVER scan all the coupons!!
It is such a crock, because the cashiers HATE it, and really aren't nice about it!


On Saturday......one of the asst. manager (she recognizes me & knows I use coupons) of one of my stores rang up my order. (She admitted to me.....she hates coupons and wishes the store would not take them).

I bought 12 items, had 12 coupons (most were 2 of the same item) and I watched her scan them. One beeped and she overrode it. I knew EXACTLY what my total would be without tax. And, of course, it did NOT ring up correctly!!! I went out to my car, to try and decide what to do, for fear of being mistreated going to CS. It was a $4 mistake, so I went back. She was aggitated & defensive at first, saying I scanned them all and even overrode one of them. I kindly explained I had 12 items, 12 coupons & 2 did not scan after counting them on my receipt. She took 10 minutes looking through my coupons and matching them up to my receipt. She found the first one.....didn't know what to say at first, then said "here's one" and put it aside. The 2nd one she found, she just looked at it, then PUT it down in the coupons that SCANNED!!! I figured at this point, it just wasn't worth the arguement. She then gave me my money back and apologized (which she didn't like doing). I said it probably wasn't her fault, as the registers miss coupons many other times I've used them, cause I watch the cashiers scan them.

When she saw me this past Friday, she was a nasty b*tch to me. I didn't care because I was there to get my big savings. If they don't like their jobs, they need to go elsewhere or suck it up

I hand my coupons one by one every time now cause they were always either sticking together where they would miss them or just didn't scan and didn't care. I think they pretty much get really pissed when I hand them to them like that but I really don't care cause I always tell them thats why I take the time to do this because I save a whole lot of money. I also get upset because I don't like holding up the line behind me when it is usually their mistakes.
