| Yesterday's Disney Adventure
The goal was simple, buy 2 of the Snow White BlueRay/DVD combos, using the $10 off IP's, and get the 4 free boxes of cereal. All for the low, low price of 18.90. AS ADVERTISED IN THE CURRENT FARM FRESH AD! The actual experience follows: FF#1 (North Main St, Suffolk) - Store is undergoing renovation, and just finding CAT FOOD is an adventure. I finally asked the gentleman in the green vest where the movie is. He has no idea, calls another gentleman, who says he has never seen this. I point out the ad, and they both state that they have never seen this. While one man roams the aisles looking for movie, the other checks boxes in the back. This man finally comes out, says "Do you live near another store? I cannot find this movie, so you will need to go to another store to find it." I point out that the nearest FF is at least 20 minutes away, and that the coupon that THEIR ad suggests using expires today. As stated in the ad. He says that he can't do anything about it. I kept my temper, barely. Checked out, while mentally composing scathing emails to corporate. FF#2 (RT 10, Smithfield) - Go to Customer Service, where young male employee offers me some goldfish from the bag he is eating from. I decline. I ask the young lady behind the counter for the movie. She looks over all of the movies, and says "we don't have it". "Have you tried Blockbuster?" I explain (again!) about their ad, and she states that she has never seen this. She calls the manager over, who also says he has never seen the ad. Once again, one employee starts looking through the store, while the manager checks the back. After about 5 minutes, the manager walks up to me with 2 movies in hand. He says that nobody knew about the ad, nobody has asked, and that there is a whole case in the back. I take my movies, my cereal, check out and leave: 1) wondering how a store stays in business if they leave their stock in boxes in a back office instead of on the shelves and 2) wondering why management does not look at their own ads and 3) was it really worth it to me? Farm Fresh is really losing out on Customer Service lately. |

So So sorry that happened to you. My experience was totally different. I had no problem with them finding the DVD, my problem was with the catalina deal. But they were very understanding and gave me the cash for the missed catalinas. I would suggest that you do send emails to corporate about your experience. They need to be aware of this problem.
