My local FF has 2 litre Dr Peppers on sale for .99 with a .55 coupon. with doubling that makes the soda free. I bought 3 yesterday and it did not double one of them. Why did it not take off the last .44 cent. I'm happy to get the soda for .44 but curious why it didn't double. I am rather new to couponing and am still trying to learn all the ins and outs. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't have a farm fresh but maybe they only double two of the same coupons? I know Shaws limits you to 6 doubles of the same coupon and after that they just take off face value.

If you had bought 2 DP and 1 Diet DP, you could have done it. The limit is two like ITEMS, not two like COUPONS. You may have to mention it as they scan your coupons, because that third one will not double automatically. But an easier way altogether is just do two transactions. That's what I do. HTH!

I have done the same thing with the Dr.Peper. If you buy the diet for the 3rd on it still will not double cause the coupon code is the same.

I have run into this in the past that they only double two like coupons, so I just do two transactions. They usually don't have a problem. If they do, I will just point out that my DS is with me and the second transaction is his.
