thip...you frequently mention "tear pads" & "blinkies"...I'm assuming you mean couponing posted at the store which you would "tear off" an additional coupon or the blinking light which has a coupon shooting out of it. But, they are NEVER there when I go to the store, even EARLY in the morning of the sales....any suggestions?

Where do you live? In the different cities I shop in I find them all the time. There are those stores that just never have them and I have come to find that in those stores the management usually doesn't want them there.

Blinkies are the little black machines that are attached to shelves. They have a little red blinking light and they spit out coupons. I find them at Kroger, Farm Fresh, Foodlion and Harris Teeter. Blinkies found at Farm Fresh usually start with a "9", so they will not double. You can usually find the same blinkie at one of the other stores that starts with a "5". They usually change or add blinkie machines every 2 to 3 weeks. I don't really know the exact schedule. I frequent so many stores that I usually catch the new blinkies when they first come out. I will try to remember to post when I notice them for you all.

Tearpad coupons are coupons that come on a pad and you tear off what you need. I find them at Kroger, Farm Fresh, Foodlion, Harris Teeter, Military Commissary, 7-Eleven, WaWa, On The Run, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Target, Dodge's and any where else that is like a convenience store. The best days to look for tearpads are Friday & Saturday. I know at WaWa they put the coupons out on Thursdays or Fridays. Most grocery stores put coupons out on Friday's or Saturdays. You have to realize that the coupons are put out by the vendors. Vendors put them out when they know there is going to be a larger amount of shoppers which is on the weekends. Now there are some tearpads that come on shippers. There is no method to when these coupons are put out. It all depends on when the store puts the shipper out. For instance, about a week ago I noticed on the Kraft website that they have a coupon booklet out that has $55 in savings in it. I had never seen it in stores. Then today, a week later, I see a school bus display with these booklets on it at the Commissary. It was effective 07/01, but my store just put it out last night. Now anyone who is military will know to look for that display. Usually, when you find a shipper at a chain store like Foodlion, all Foodlions will receive that shipper. It is just a matter of when the store is going to put it out. So when you read that someone found that shipper at their store, make sure to check yours.

One of the food lions in chesapeake has 2 BUS displays up ~ has been for over 2 weeks now. The coupon pamphlets they are holding are not the kraft $55 ones, but the Kellogg's Fuel For School $104.00 in coupons and $10 MIR! It was tricky to find the booklets at first because the display they had at the front of the store had smaller cardboard displays covering the coupons up!!!

You mentioned that you would receive $3 off for buying 4 pizza's, Is the current $3 promotion continuing with Wednesday's new sales? Sound's like I need to go to Wawa by my work to look for some tearpads.... I did find a few good ones at Food Lion....you find alot which is great!!
