Yes. The way I had it calculated with the coupon the ending total would have been negative. I had miss calculated somehow which made the total .50.

Keep in mind the Miniwheats deal is based on the ability to price match Harris Teeter. As far as I know the two Suffolk stores are the only two stores doing this. Here is how it will look:

4 Frosted MiniWheats @ $2.50 each = $10.
Minus HT BOGO price match
Total is now $5

Without the price match, the final total would be $10 without coupons.

I lucked out on the second trip because the BOGO Peak Tea cpns were scanning for $5 off!!! I don't know why, but the cashier noticed it and told me she couldn't take the second one because the first one already took off $5. The tea was only $1 a bottle, so I made $1 in each order!!! Also figured out that the $3 off $10 deal can be done more than once in a single transaction. The way it came off though it looked like the $6 was coming off of the two tea 12 pks. After counting I realized that I had bought 20 items from the list. Was glad to figure that out.

Was very happy to meet quickclips4money today in Suffolk. This was the first time I had ever met anyone that frequents AFC. We swapped a few coupons and talked a little bit about deals. Look forward to running into her and other AFC members in the future. It is always fun to talk deals!


On a more serious note, a shopper at one of the stores saw me shopping and asked me if I go online. I told her yes. She then asked me if I had the Free Velveeta and Free Reynolds cpns. I told her no and asked her what website she went to. She avoided telling me where she went to "print" these coupons. She gave me a copy of each and I thanked her and walked away. As soon as I got around the corner I showed them to my dh and dd. They were clearly fake! Both were for FREE product with no expiration date and no "valid up to" amount.

It is very important that we all use above board couponing practices. It is people like this woman who make it hard on all of us honest couponers. They are the reason why we sometimes have such a hard time with cashiers and why some stores will not take printables. Remember, if it looks like a copy, has no "up to" value amount, or looks suspicious in anyway, it is probably fake and you should not use it!

I have been once this week. I did 3 transactions & got $180 down to $21 OOP + $15 of that was meat!! I was pretty stoked.

I'm going to hit the recycling dumpster today & see if I can find some more of those $10/$50 q's from Friday's paper. I'll probably call the store & see if they'll take a printout as well.
