I had a problem buying the Bush's baked bean tonight, but not sure if customer service would do anything.

I bought 2 (they were 3/$5) and used the 2/$1.00 coupon, but the coupon did *not* double instead it rang up $1.00, then .67 (which would have been the cost of 1 can).
Anyone else have this happen to them when using a q purchasing 2 items???

Another issue, bought the 2/$4 Capri Sun tonight. I had 4 coupons, so I took 2 and gave 2 to my teen son. I went first and cashier/manager I found out later) quickly rang up my order, I was paying attention to make sure the $2.00 off beef coupon worked (which it did) when buying the Grande chips (used 2 .75q's).

I had given my son enough change to pay for his order about .75 (he got 2 capri suns and 1 garden burger) used 3 $1.00 coupons which doubled. Cashier said the amount was $1.67??? I said no, it should be about .60. The one flavor of capri sun rang up wrong (2/$6 or $3 each). I showed the manager/cashier and then said to my son "you will have a negative balance, because you will get that item for "free" when he adjusts the price. The manager said, I can't give you money back. I said, I know. So I said, just give him the one coupon back (which he did). He re-rang the order and it came to .61.

Here's my question..if an item is rung up wrong, but we are getting it for free using a coupon that is doubled, how should it be handled??? (I know i'm getting it for "free" either way)

(BTW, I checked my receipt for the Capri Sun mistake and it rang up $3.00, he gave me $3.12 cash back)


Another question...when a catalina prints out say for .75/1 or 1.00/1 item, will they double it when you use it???

I had a similar problem the other day using the Sweet Baby Rays coupon, $1/2. Only $1 came off because that was the price of one item. I had never seen that before, even with that particular coupon. Maybe they have reprogrammed the registers? Badly, if this is a result. The CS manager was right there, and she just entered the coupon, and we were good to go. I will watch more carefully in the future.

I think maybe they have reprogramed their registers. I went to buy the $2 off when you buy sugar and 10 koolaid packets and only .59 came off. He told me thats the amount that came off. I told him to take it all off then I did not want it. I swear it took him 10 minutes during the after work rush to do it. People rolling their eyes behind me. I will go back to my late night runs.

I bought 6 packages of Kraft cheese on sale last night and I got a catalina for $4 OYNO on from Kraft ... I'm not sure what the trigger was, but the coupon did say compliments of Kraft Cheese. Note: I also bought other Kraft products, like salad dressing, so I'm not sure how to duplicate the offer ... did anyone else get one of these?

As for mistakes made, it happens all the time to me on sale prices and certain coupons. Sometimes, I think it's a Wednesday thing since the sales are new and the register's program issues haven't been tested and fixed yet.

My Bush's coupon and sale rang up correctly but the Buy 2 get 1 free Kelloggs deal didn't work for me last night, even though my cereal products were on the promotion's list. I have to go back this weekend and have them adjust it. It rang up the "free" box at $2.50 ...

The Grande Chips/$2 off beef didn't ring up without beeping ... the register said too many coupons - I bought beef and 2 Grande Chips and used 1 $2 off beef wyb 2 Grande chips + 2 $1/1 Grande Chip coupons (they came from an insert out of our area). Cashier said I couldn't use the $1/1 Chip coupons with the beef coupon ... manager had to override. Thankfully I have a good relationship with my store's managers. Makes little issues much quicker to resolve!

I think if you would have asked for a manager the manager would have taken the $2 off.

You were right to not say anything about the Bush's coupon, however for the Capri sun you should have paid the $1.67. Then once you figured out from the receipt what was wrong, go to CS and get a refund which would be for the full $3 plus tax.

As for the catalina doubling, it depends. Some people report to have successfully doubled catalinas and some have not. I tried this with a catalina for Big Chill Soda and it didn't double, but I think it was because it was a FF item. I think if it was a man. cpn for something like Kellogg's cereal it may have doubled. HTH!

No, it was the "regular" cheese. I bought 3 bricks and 3 packages of shredded cheddar - the 2% didn't have the same sale tag so I thought it wasn't part of the sale. I wish I knew what triggered it so that I could share that with you ... IF you have coupons and the sale price with a $4 off OYNO is a great deal but only if you can get that catalina to trigger!
