I also had an awesome opportunity to speak with a man who puts over 800 different products on FF shelves every week. He was in the same isle as I was and noticed me holding coupons. He asked me if I had eggo waffle coupons, I said no, he gave me 2! He also gave me 4 coupons for beggin strips! We talked over half an hour about couponing (he has been in the grocery business for years) and telling my how the early coupons didn't have bar codes!!! He stated that he and his wife coupon, but after bringing him up to date (everything I learned on AFC) and telling him about IP's and such, he was really amazed at how much money I have saved!

Grrr. I finally plan ahead, hoping for a Coke sale, and no freaking qs on MCR! Oh well, needed Cokes anyway or DH will buy them (GASP) at full price in gas stations every day, so I did the following:

There was a lady (hope she's not reading!) who seemed kinda nasty at me because I took so many Chinets--but I left as many as I took, plus there were two other varieties on sale. I DID go through and take only the blue ones, because I personally can't stand yellow and dh LOVES blue, so I pulled them all out (I bought 7 pkgs total because I had 5 $2/1 qs). She mentioned it to me again, when I ran into her elsewhere in the store, that I had taken all the blue ones. Geesh! The store was only open another hour that night, it's not like I was devoiding the whole world of blue plates forever! Oh well . . .

yes, she "had" to buy the yellow ones and seemed upset! seriously! you should have gotten there 2 min earlier! (Ok, I'm not really that mean--if she hadn't looked like she EXPECTED me to give her the blue ones OUT OF MY CART, then I might have offered!!!!!)
