Not sure if its been posted but I just discovered you can log on the FF website and check prices there as if you were using the online grocery shopping service! That way you can see advertised and unadvertised deals! Neato!

I do this all the time. The only problem is they can be slow to update their prices online.

I have friends "order" their groceries this way & then show up with their coupons. Everything rings up the same way, coupons & discounts (senior/military) & someone does your shopping. They love it....I haven't tried it but may do so.....

For orders more than $150, it is FREE, for less than $150, it is $4.50/order. 1st time pick up order is free. My friends have not mentioned the cost (4.50). However, my g.f.'s using this service are very busy & probably consider the $4.50 to be nominal compared to the time they would spend shopping. Also, using coupons would make up the difference. This type of service may not be for everyone but I can understand how someone who is extremely busy would use it. An acquantaince in Northern VA uses this same service all the time @ the Giant grocery store chain. She has even given a "grocery order" as a wedding gift to a new couple & had it delivered to their home. She has also used it when moving to a new apt. so she did not have to move groceries. Farm Fresh also offers delivery service but I do not know anything about this or the costs. |
