| Grumpy Front End Mgr.
Perhaps the FF in Hayes, VA should explain to some of their front end managers what the true meaning of customer service is. They may also want to remind them that our (couponer's) money is just as green as anyone else's. We work VERY HARD to get these savings, and can easily take our business to any store we wish. Last Wed. I stopped in after work, and as usual, my cashier was very polite and helpful. At the end of my order, there were 2 or 3 coupons that wouldn't scan, so she called the front end mgr. over. As the mgr. placed her key in the register, she LOUDLY remarked "I hate these things! I wish they would all just go away!" The poor cashier was floored....as was the young man bagging. She looked at me to see if I had heard the remark, and it was obvious by the look on my face that I had. She tried her best to make up for it as she handed me my receipt by thanking me several times for shopping there, etc. I smiled, thanked her in return, and left. This weekend I shopped at Bloom's (yes, for the triples ) and found that not only did I save even more, ALL of the employees I came in contact with were very eager to please, pleasant and helpful. Bottom line: FF needs to remind their MANAGEMENT that just like anything else in life, there are two ways to see things. We can be thought of (and treated) like a major pain in the butt, and they will probably start to notice that their sales will decline, due to the fact that we are shopping elsewhere. Or, they can treat coupon customers no differently, with the same respect due ANY customer, and keep us coming back. It is entirely their choice. And no, this was not the first time I have been treated this way at this store. Anyway, enjoy this beautiful day!!

Dang! I'm sorry you had that kind of experience. Maybe you need to borrow Miss Snarky One, they never bother me when I have her with me. I guess she distracts them. ETA: Miss Snarky & I miss you! I have an envie of Qs for you as well!

Stopped at FF after work today, and I must say, I was VERY IMPRESSED! It was made very clear to me how upset they (management) were about what happened the other week. I was assured, in no uncertain terms, that customer service and satisfaction is definitely their top priority, and that they were going to make every effort to see to it that the experience I had does not happen again. And, as a show of good faith, I was even given a gift card! The mere fact that they showed so much concern over the possible loss of a single customer was most impressive to me. Good job, Hayes FF!! Keep up the good work!!

I have had problems with this Farm Fresh as well. There is one woman that is always a grouch. I have gotten into arguments several times. It is as if they take it personally that I am saving money!

They have these brochures that you can fill out and mail in to their Customer Service Dept., I've sent a few in for good service but I'm sure you can fill out for bad service as well. Don't forget the name of the employee!
