I just saw it and came to post! I'm so excited! Also, i"ve been waiting to get a standing rib roast for christmas (so pricey!) and happy to see it down to 5.88 per lb! still expensive, but once a year I wait for it to drop from 11.98...yay! see y'all at farm fresh!

This is a great Christmas gift from FF. I have lots of coupons expiring 12/31, and many are $1. I started pulling coupons out today and will hopefully go shopping tomorrow or Friday.

I didn't even see the standing rib roast! I just bought one today at Food Lion for 6.? a pound. I haven't ever made one, but I was trying to find something different than turkey or ham. I hope it's good, it cost me 34.00!

I don't have my receipt in front of me, but here are some of the deals i can remember:
.75 off duke's mayo made it almost free
.50 off blistex made it free
.40 off pillsbury crescent rolls made the small size .30
$1 off any size progressive/progresso broth made it free (2 for 4)
.50 off helluva good dip made it super cheap, can't remember how much...

what was really nice is that since i bought my rib roast and other stuff (including a bunch of laundry detergent) I spent over 50 bucks. forgot wednesday's $5 off when you spend 50. i called them and they told me if i came back, i could still use it! I had to pass by there again that night anyway for a christmas program, $5 more bucks in my pocket!

I forgot all about the $5! I wish I had gone yesterday. I picked out a ton of coupons and I am going for the cheapest possible prices. If the price isn't right, I'm not buying. I am so excited to see what kinds of deals I can get.

I had so much fun tonight! I think I might go back! I had a $35 gift card there that I spent on $70 worth of stuff.

Altoids were free - I had 1.00 off.
Kellogs cereals were good - either $2.50 2.75 a box, and the 1.00 coupons from last week made those cheap.

I do the same thing! Pull out all the things I usually get anyway and all the .75 and $1 Qs and go price checking...i pass up a lot of stuff that just still isn't a good deal, even with a Q!

This was fun since there is usually a limit of 20 q's per transaction at my store. I took hubby this time and gave him 10q's and I had 10'q's (didn't realize it was unlimited). He was really surprised at how much we saved and how some things we got for FREE! He wanted to go back the next night...LOL We did and saved even more. I just wish they would of tripled .75 q's like the last time in my store!!!! I only used .50, .75 and $1.00 of q's.

Christmas Eve I went to FF and bought a deli tray and some other items. I realized I had left my $5 off a deli tray coupon and my $5 off $50 coupon at home. I asked if I could bring them in later to receive my cash back and they said yes! I went the day after Christmas and got $10, which I used to get 8 boxes of LED lights for 1.25 each. Oh, yeah!
