When i got up to the register some of my coupons werent working. The manager was called over and she told me i couldnt use coupons on sale items.... And i told her thats silly yes you can. She continued to argue. Then i showed her that a coupon worked for a sale item and then she said you couldnt use 2 coupons on an item. i dont understand! HELP!!!!

I got the energizer batteries priced 2.99. I used a .50 peelie and then i had a 1.00 coupon. They would not accept both.

The blistex is on sale for .99 and i had 2 manufacter coupons. a .55 and a .25. They only accepted one.
They also would not accept a manufacter coupon on the colgate toothpaste because it was on sale and they only took one manufacter coupon on the ziploc bags.

Cashier called manager on phone and he said no, no coupon cause its on clearance. So we never even got to try it.

What does your Walgreens do?

Do I try it again when I know this cashier is not there, she is a BA and they don't get their until 9am.

Just wondering what you think and if it would have adjusted or worked. They have many more hanging there and I did not see them at another Wags I was at, so it might just be marked down at this one.

Okay; I have learned about Wags from AFC the past few months; & have done some incredible "deals". I've learned the ins & outs of Wags; how they work; how to roll; how to get the most for my money with the lowest OOP; can come up with a lot of great screnarios on my own (but still always appreciate Sleepy & all the other fine AFCers ;o); etc.

Thought I was doing really great, but then would read periodically about people not seeing anything great to roll on a particular week, & were deciding to do mail in rebate items.

Is there any list or anywhere to find out what these are?

I am sure this is obvious for the real Wags experts; but I am clueless.

Guess I wasn't doing as great as I thought! ;o)

TIA for any info!

Has anyone actually done this before?

What about an in-ad coupon with a raincheck? For example, this week Kleenex has an in-ad coupon for a price of $1.09 but my store's shelves are wiped clean. Could I get a raincheck for the $1.09 price?

What about the Almay foundation deal? Every time I go into my stores there is NO foundation available. I'm checking later today as they got a truck in this morning. But if we start to get close to the end of the month long deal and this doesn't change, I'm really missing out. Could I get rain checks for that?

Are the RR's just like ECB (CVS) or can you only use them on certain products?
How many RR's are you allowed to use per transaction/per item?

I went on Sunday to do the Tylenol/Sudafed deal and I completely messed it up. I not only bought the wrong sized Sudafed, which caused the RR not to print, but I also forgot to hand over my $1/1 Tylenol Wags coupon that I had (which would have taken off $3). This transaction was done at a store about 1/2 hour away from my "local" store.

So I get home and realized what's happened, so I go to my local Wags to return the items (I figured it's just easier that way...I had messed it up too badly to be fixed I figured). So when the cashier talks to the asst. manager, she relays to me that they won't take the return, because I need to go back to the other store to do it. Then the asst manager comes out and shows me that the most she can give me is my OOP cost, minus all of the RRs and coupons I had used! She then suggests to me that I go back to other location and ask them to give me back the coupons. So I politely call the store when I bought the items, only to be told that NO, they won't be giving back the coupons, even if I were to re-purchase them and use the coupons! So literally I'm now stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I thought I had read that according to Wags coupon policy that I would be reimbursed the full retail price for each item, so I called Wags customer service, only to be told that no, I would only get OOP costs back!?!? So my question is, has anyone ever had this issue as far as returns and how can I go about returning the items and getting back to where I started from? I had so many RRs and coupons on that transaction that I'm not sure which are coupons and which are RRs anyway!

P.S. I'm quickly learning that this will be my first and LAST return to Wags!

TIA!
