Well Golly GEE! I got some AWESOME deals! I got over 20 pieces of clothing for just over 30.00. I got kids clothes, shoes, coveralls, a jacket for DS, such great deals.

Some of the layette's are 2.00 minus the 30% off makes for a great price for baby gifts!

I even was lucky enuf to score a Halloween costume that is a FOOTBALL, yes - it's a puffy football for 0-9 months old, and it's so thick and cuddly, adorable for my DS - he 'll go crazy. Anyhoo--the TCP Cust Svc rep I spoke with told me that the Place Perks program is set to end as of next month!! Say it isn't so :frown: I mentioned to the rep that I hardly shopped TCP (practically NEVER went there) before I got signed up for Place Perks--and now I am a VERY loyal customer who has all but abandoned GYMBOREE (my old fave due to gymbucks!)--I also mentioned that Gymboree has just started their own loyalty card (Gymboree Rewards) and that I sincerely hoped that they would keep Place Perks (and my business!!!)

Thought maybe if they got more feedback like this that they would rethink getting rid of Place Perks? Yeah I went to TRU hoping to get in on the $3.99 games... NOT. The only one they have was Candyland and then when I asked an employee he looked at me like I had three eyes and said "Maam... why would we have those? That sale started Sunday"...

Really there is a REASONABLE expectation that a store would have enough stock to hold them through a week sale??? I mean shame on me for thinking they might actually HONOR the ad!!! So I asked if they would give me a rain check...no. Fine...


I decided I would just go ahead and get a few games that I knew my kids would LOVE and pay a little more... it was still a good deal after rebates and gift cards so... I am happy.

After my two GC's and rebate I will end up spending about $35 for all of them. Which is FINE by me. My son will DIE when he sees the star wars guess who... I have to admit it was REALLY cute!
